The space

Windswept Farm was built by Samuel Moor in 1743. Over the last 270+ years it has been the home and working farm to many families. It was also a Summer Retreat and lively Tavern. It has been lovingly restored and now offers a quaint and comfy 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Windswept is now a working farm and equestrian facility with riding arenas and trails. The grounds offer 140 acres of peaceful tranquility. From perennial gardens to fruit and vegetable gardens, there are many areas to explore. The views and sunsets are breathtaking. There are many hayfields and miles of groomed trails to hike, bike, snowshoe and X-C ski.
The rental rate includes the NH 9% rentals tax.
Your private entrance includes the original old quaint entryway with the wide floorboards, a handmade coat rack and shelf with a boot tray. There is also a small bathroom with a shower on the first floor. Up the original narrow stairway you enter into the dining/bar area opened to the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room.
In each of the two bedrooms, there is a queen sized bed with crisp Egyption Cotton linens and bedside tables with lamps for reading. The master bed has a brand new medium firm Brooklyn Bed mattress - extreme comfort! The cabin bedroom has a very comfortable medium firm mattress. You will find plenty of closet and bureau space to put your things away. The master bedroom has a spacious bath which is 2 steps away in the common hallway (privacy provided with a thick room divider).
Fluffy soft hand and bath towels are also provided in each bathroom.
The apartment has a TV with a full premium cable package and the entire apartment has Xfinity Wifi Internet. Puzzles, magazines, books and games also provide indoor entertainment. You will also find an outdoor table and chair set with a barbecue grill for outdoor meals. Snowshoes, XC skis (size 9 and 11) and bikes are available for your use on the premises.

You are welcome anywhere on the grounds. There are 2 large barns, one is a big red antique with lots of original treasures. The other is a stable housing horses and is attached to the large indoor riding arena. We hope you make yourself at home on our 140 acres of gardens, trails, hayfields, forest and stone walls. There are several outdoor chairs placed around the grounds for you to relax and enjoy. Our farm mascot is Elizabeth, sweet cluckable Bantam Hen. She has a HUGE personality!
A grounds and trail map is in the home manual in the apartment.

We tend to give our guests their privacy after checking in. I am always just a knock, text, or phone call away for any needs regarding your accommodations or to give advice about the farm, restaurants, town of Canterbury, or the central NH areas.

We are out in the country and live at the end of a short dirt road. Our only neighbors are our farm critters. It is typically nice and quiet with the exception of the neighing of horses and the farm tractor's rumble.
A vehicle is necessary and we have plenty of parking.
We do not allow smoking in any of our buildings and can provide an ashtray upon request for smoking outside.

Corinne's place was perfect for us for our weekend stay. The apartment was charming and clean, Corinne was responsive and helpful, and the farm grounds were wonderful to explore -- the kids loved seeing the horses. Highly recommend.

Corinne made our visit comfortable and welcoming. Booked last minute due to floors being done in our house and had to extend our visit which she accommodated. The beautiful farmhouse visit added a touch of vacation and relaxing we needed. The yummy toffee bars left for us were a big hit too! We'd definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Corinne place was a nice place to call home for 3 months. Loved the farm, lots of outdoor space. Our pet loved to roam free on the grounds. Very accommodating to our needs. The place has quite the charm and character. Never lived on a farm, now I can say I have. Only negative was shower pressure but hey I chalked it up to being on the farm. Would stay again if I ever come back to NH.

Our stay at Corinne's was outstanding. She greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour and communicated with us throughout our stay while at the same time she respected our privacy. The highlight was a riding lesson for my daughter and granddaughter which Corinne arranged. The instruction and personal attention was tremendous. I would definitely come back.

I'm a motivated and busy woman, wife and mother of 3 incredible adult daughters (and grandmother of 2 handsome little guys). I work as a homecare RN by day, and a farmer the rest of the time. Windswept is a family-run business. Our middle daughter, Kelly, is our trainer, instructor and barn manager. My husband, Craig, spends his days managing the gardens, hayfields, woodlands, mending fences and oh yes, he is a manure manager extrordinairre. I take care of the business end of the farm and often ride my sweet gray mare, Jubilee. Craig and I travel often, usually to see family and friends out west and down south. We also enjoy cooking, wine, music, movies, books and dancing,
Life is good, living on a horse farm is "our utopia", We're living our dream, and would like to share it with you.
