We had a great stay at this lovely studio apartment.
The location in battery park city is great, the apartment
had everything we needed, and the host was very
Emily was great. I stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 teenage daughters. We had several emails before my arrival, and she left detailed, clear instructions on getting to the apartment. The place was clean and lovely when we arrived. In addition to the bed and couch pictured in the image, she had an additional couch and small, movable coffee tables. There were extra sheets, blankets, and towels, which was great for our family. And she provided many thoughtful extras - laundry detergent, bathroom soaps, some basic kitchen supplies, etc. The building was wonderful - people were friendly and helpful, and the location was amazing. The view at night is hard to beat for NYC! The proximity to transportation made NYC easy to navigate and explore. We really enjoyed the time and highly recommend this place.
The apartment was clean and well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The large windows made the place feel much bigger. Emily was quick to respond to questions via text and email. The kitchen has lots of useful staple food items, such as coffee, tea, etc., probably left by others. During the day, the area is a bit noisy because of on-going construction, but nothing that bothered me too much, and it is very quiet at night. The apartment now has two couches (not shown in the pictures) that can double as beds, although I never used them. As someone else said in a review, the building appeared run-down and the elevator carpets were dirty. The location is close to Tribeca and SoHo, and across the water from Jersey City and Hoboken-- which is good because Battery Park City can seem a bit desolate at night. And it's a wind tunnel. Thank you, Emily for a comfortable stay.
We had a great stay, no dramas getting the key to the apartment. The apartment is exactly like it is in the picture. It was exactly what we were looking for in the right location. Emily was extremely prompt with communication.
We had a great stay in NYC, and the apartment was exactly as described. The location was great and perfect for walking, running, bicycling and likewise (and very close to Staten Island ferry etc.) It was as well pretty close to (our favorite food store) Whole Foods Market at 270 Greenwich St. The communication Metro etc. was in short walking distance, and plenty of taxis were circling in the area. The correspondence with the Emily was fast, and we got all the information we needed. We can gladly recommend Emily and her flat at lower Manhattan!
