The Beach Loft is a charming seaside vacation on 1.5 acres located on the north shore of Orcas Island just minutes away from Eastsound Village. Our unique location offers spectacular northern Salish Sea views paired with access to our breathtaking private low bank beach.

The space
The Beach Loft:
A private studio loft in our Cape Code style cottage on the north shore. Included is a mini-fridge, Keurig machine, and breakfast table for two. Small ensuite bathroom with shower. Enjoy expansive Salish Sea views from the private sun drenched deck with table and chairs. Our property is fenced and has a gated entry for privacy. A traditional home with warm wood details, large sash windows, skylights and French doors framing views of the Salish Sea.

The Beach Loft is on the second level. It is accessible only by an outdoor staircase.

The bathroom and shower is designed for a narrow space, so is smaller than a standard full bathroom.

The Beach:
Step from the deck into the garden and stroll over a low boardwalk spanning active tidal wetlands to our black sand and pebble beach. Stand at the shore's edge and gaze out into the expansive waterscape, distant islands, and snow peaked Canadian Coast Range. Skip rocks over the glassy summer surface of the sea. Sip the salt air. Dip your toes in the gentle ocean salt water. Gather driftwood and build a beach fort, explore the ocean tidal life or plop down and just listen to the subtle lapping waves breaking at the shore.

Terrill Beach is owned by 5 parcels. Residents & guests of these parcels have access to walk the beach, but each individual beachfront is private property. Please sit and socialize on our section.

Is there a kitchen?:
No. This room is not vented for cooking. Keurig machine, toaster and mini fridge only. No microwave. Home is 5 min drive to Eastsound for restaurants, cafes and markets.

Can I bring my camping gear?
No outdoor cooking appliances or camping equipment. During open burning, 2x2 campfires are allowed on the beach.

Please do bring your own outdoor beach towels.

Is there TV?
Smart TV with apps for your streaming subscriptions. Bring your login info.

Who's on the property?
The main house may be occupied by the owners or other guests for all or some of your rental. It is important that you respect quiet hours. Sorry, no outside guests may visit the home or the beach. Thank you for following these rules.

What about kayaking?
You may rent kayaks from a local company and have them delivered. We do not recommend this unless you are an experienced kayaker. Waters can become unsafe very quickly. Consider a guided tour if you are new to kayaking.
