  • Great stay! Though, sadly, we were only able to stay for a night, we were lucky to book the suite on third floor! Great space, fabulous views, charming and welcoming host! A beautiful and historic home with splashes of modernism make it a unique and quirky grand old home on a quiet side street on historic Recreo Hill. The breakfast was continental, perhaps American travelers would miss eggs, but the ham, cheese and baked goodies were no less sweeter than the darling lady who took care of us at breakfast (so sorry I can't recall her name). Overall, a delightful experience!
We will be back, Jose Manuel!

  • Our stay in La Casa del Almirante was great!! Maria, our host, was very friendly and helpful. She was happy to give us tips on what tourist sights to see and each morning we were welcomed with a smile (and an absolutely delicious breakfast!).
Also, the room was so beautiful! It had everything we needed - kitchenette, wifi and lots of space. With views of the ocean and coast line, my fiance and i especially enjoyed relaxing and enjoying Vina del Mar from the comfy couch right next to the window.
We loved every minute of our stay and if we ever decide to travel back to Chile, we will definitely be staying in the loft.

  • I really recommend this place for those visiting Valparaiso's area. Perfect location between the city and the beach in Vina del Mar. Only minutes from both places by really convenient public transportation.

Definitely, I great discovery to come back!

  • We spent two weeks in the loft at Casa del Almirante during our recent stay in Viña del Mar. The views were only rivaled by care we received by our host Maria Jose. She did everything possible to make sure we had what we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The loft makes for a nice getaway and is great for a couple, two couples or a small family. I highly recommend it if you plan to stay in Viña del Mar.

  • This was absolutely the best experience my husband and I had while staying in Chile. The hosts were amazing, friendly, helpful... there are no words which can explain the amazing stay we had while staying here.
I would recommend staying here to anyone who is coming to Vina Del Mar. Perfect for couples and families.
Just because of this experience I wish we will go to Chile again sooner than later, and stay here again and see the best hosts again!

  • This B&B is one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in!
It's a very well-decorated and spacious house with a few different rooms and suites, an there's a living room for people to hang out in. We were a party of 5 (two couples and a toddler), so we stayed in the top floor suite, which had its own little kitchen and sitting area. And like other people have said, great views. We did not meet Jose, but our hostess was a lovely woman who seemed to be running the place on her own just fine.
The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, only odd thing is that we were asked if we wanted eggs and in the end found out that there is an additional charge for them. It was probably due to a miscommunication with the server.

  • This place was fantastic. The attic loft is great, including 2 bedrooms (NOTE: you need to pay extra if you want both bedrooms. Check w/ the host ahead of time about price for both), bathroom, a large lounge area with great views, as well as a small kitchen and eating area with microwave, sink and mini fridge. The location is convenient... although on a very private road that may be hard to find your first time, it's only a 3-4 blocks from a main avenue and a beach in Vina, maybe a 10-minute walk to the Sheraton area, and an easy 20-minute walk or so to the casino and restaurants/bars around it. Jose was very kind, as was his wife and the other staff. Overall, it's a really nice, quiet B&B, with great views, roomy indoor and outdoor common areas, a very nice neighborhood, good location, and solid service.

About
Hola a tod@s!
