To get from the airport to our apartment in the center of Santiago we recommend to take one of the following transfers:
Both of these companies have offices at the Santiago airport, so it is not necessary to book in advance. Shared transfers are cheaper than taxis, it might take more time to get to the center though, because other people might get dropped of first. It is also possible to book a private transfer with these companies.
An other option is to take a taxi. It´s important to ask for the price before you go, especially if you look foreign. A normal price is around 15.000 CLP. But never pay more than 17.000 CLP!
Other distances from the apartment:

We stayed in a different apartment, double room in the same building, as the host had a problem with the one we booked. The room move happened before we arrived and there was no problems.
The apartment is well located centrally and is as pictured.
The host were helpful & friendly. Apartment was comfortable & clean. Would recommend.
A localização é bem central, então andamos bastante a pé e conhecemos bem o centro e arredores.
A vista do terraço é imperdível! Recomendo!
The first thing we must say is that Ale and Jorge are wonderful hosts; they are hospitable, really helpful, efficient and professional. We had an occasion when we needed to visit a hospital and Ale and Jorge provided assistance over and above the normal standard - it would have been very difficult without their help. They are a pleasure to deal with and helped make our stay in Santiago a great experience. The apartment was perfect for our needs; it is well appointed and having access to laundry facilities was a real bonus. The apartment is very close to local food markets and within walking distance of a number of Santiago's interesting sites. It is also an easy walk to a couple of Metro stations. If you want to experience 'living' in Santiago, we can highly recommend this apartment. The apartment is located close to major roads which come with the expected noise level but afterall it is a large, busy place. We also found the security in the building reassuring.
Jorge and Ale's apartment is great! Walking distance to the centre of town as well as the districts of Bellavista and Lastarria, which are full of bars and restaurants. Shopping is easy with Santiago's central food market just a couple of minutes walk away (there's also a supermarket a few minutes away). The apartment is just as pictured, perfect for a couple. And Ale and Jorge were very flexible, letting me check-in early. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay again!
