The space

Are you looking for a comfortable, cozy cottage (with all the necessities) in the historic part of Colorado Springs? The views of Pike's Peak and Cheyenne Mountain are spectacular!

The one-bedroom cottage is located in the historic heart of Colorado Springs and within walking distance (or a short drive) of comfy coffee shops and one-of-a-kind gift shops. Of course, the views of the mountains are breath-taking!

The cottage has one bedroom (full size bed), one bathroom (with shower), kitchen (even the Crock-Pot is available!), and living room (with a queen-size sofa sleeper). Best of all, there is a working, vintage juke box in the living room.

The cottage has been lovingly decorated with vintage family furniture which includes Grandma's 1950s chrome kitchen table. As you can imagine, Grandma served many delicious homemade meals at this table!

Come stay with us, enjoy your stay in Colorado Springs, and become a part of our family.

Best of all, Grandma's special cookies are waiting for you upon your arrival!

The neighborhood

Our neighborhood is comprised of many people from "all walks of life". We are all supportive of each other. During tourist season, you might experience an increase in street noise. However, there is an AC unit in the cottage, so it's not necessary to have the windows open.

Getting around

Uber is great for local travel. Also, there is a bus stop by Palmer High School.

Other things to note

Take time to enjoy the Glamper!

Your Host

Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States · Joined in January 2012

I am an elementary school principal, and I have the best job in the world! My hobbies include playing the piano and trumpet, being an amateur (ham) radio operator, and visiting with my grandchildren. I am very much a "people" person, and I enjoy building relationships.

My favorite book of all time? Tuck Everlasting.

My daughters, Holly and Lisbeth, help me with my Airbnb reservations, and they love company, too! :)

I guess my life motto would have to be our school's motto: If it is to be, it is up to me.

Each day is a beautiful blessing! :)
