  • This was my second stay in the cottage, where I feel so comfortable and safe. Missy and her daughter are superb hosts!

  • Missy helped me figure out booking issues so I could extend my stay at the cottage and I was treated like a member of the family. Missy and her daughter are just stellar hosts!

  • Great place for our stay in Colorado Springs. Had everything we needed, and Missy is a very good host. We enjoyed the cookies on arrival.

I would recommend this as somewhere to stay in Colorado Springs.

  • I loved the bed and pillows at the Missy's cottage! So comfortable! It was a peaceful, restful weekend for me -- just what I needed. Missy was so considerate and helpful. I'm looking forward to my next stay there.

  • Super little cottage, Missy went above and beyond to prepare this charming little cottage for her guests.
    You will not be disappointed.

  • My wife & I had a wonderful stay at the "Step Back In Time Cottage". It is a very comfortable place to stay and has a warm feeling to it. We were here two weeks. The Cottage is clean and bright, with lots of windows. Missy is a good host and made us home made cookies and muffins. You can walk to downtown or just sit out on the porch and enjoy the sun. Missy was very understanding when our travel plans were changed.

  • I'm almost hesitant to leave a review because it may keep me from ever getting another reservation @ Missy's cottage because it will be booked all of the time. The cottage was a wonderful departure from a hotel room for this convention attendee. I was able to save $$, felt welcome from the wonderful Missy, & was able to enjoy the local sights due to the excellent location. Missy is so inspiring & never stops caring for and about others & it sows in her offering. Such a delight, I miss the cottage & Missy already.

  • Another great stay in Missy's cottage! The cottage is clean, roomy, and comfortable. The location, just a few blocks from Tejon street and multiple restaurants etc., can't be beat. Missy goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable. It's a great value for the price, and we plan to stay with Missy every time we're in town.

  • We spent the entire month of September at Missy's cottage and had a wonderful time. She greeted us with bagels, cream cheese, orange juice and homemade cookies. The cottage is cute, it is clean and it had everything we needed to make our long stay comfortable. It is located near everything Colorado Springs has to offer.

Missy is a terrific person, extremely accommodating, always available to help, provide needed information or just to have a friendly chat.

Don't miss the opportunity to meet Missy and enjoy her lovely cottage.
We certainly plan to return, and look forward to staying in touch with Missy until we do.

  • We stayed with Missy while moving our daughter in for her freshman year at Colorado College. The cottage is clean and roomy, the bed and couch are comfy, and Missy clearly goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome. The college and downtown Colorado Springs are walking distance, and you can even see Pike's Peak from the alley behind the cottage. We have already booked our return trips for parents' weekend both this year and next, and we'd highly recommend her cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Colorado Springs!

About
I am an elementary school principal, and I have the best job in the world! My hobbies include playing the piano and trumpet, being an amateur (ham) radio operator, and visiting with my grandchildren via the Internet. I am very much a "people" person, and I enjoy building relationships. My favorite book of all time? Tuck Everlasting. Lisbeth, my daughter, is a registered nurse and works for a local school district. Lisbeth is an avid marathon runner and loves to be with her niece and nephews. I guess my life motto would have to be our school's motto: If it is to be, it is up to me.
