About This Listing
Are you looking for a comfortable, cozy cottage (with all the necessities) in the historic part of Colorado Springs? The views of Pike's Peak and Cheyenne Mountain are spectacular!
The one-bedroom cottage is located in the historic heart of Colorado Springs and within walking distance (or a short drive) of comfy coffee shops and one-of-a-kind gift shops. Of course, the views of the mountains are breath-taking!
The cottage has one bedroom (full size bed), one bathroom (with shower), kitchen (even the Crock-Pot is available!), and living room (with a queen-size sofa sleeper). Best of all, there is a working, vintage juke box in the living room.
The cottage has been lovingly decorated with vintage family furniture which includes Grandma's 1950s chrome kitchen table. As you can imagine, Grandma served many delicious homemade meals at this table!
Come stay with us, enjoy your stay in Colorado Springs, and become a part of our family.
Best of all, Grandma's special cookies are waiting for you upon your arrival!
Other wonderful things: DirecTV, wireless internet, well-behaved pets okay, no smoking, automatic ice maker, beautiful front porch
I really do enjoy well-behaved pets, and I have a nice fenced-in area that your pet can do his/her business. I do ask that you use the pooper-scooper that is located in the fenced-in area. Yes, there will always be a doggie treat at my back door! :)
The cottage is located right behind the main house. I also have an upstairs apartment that I rent through (website hidden).
There is parking right next to the cottage, but please be careful as you drive behind the house to get to the cottage. There's a blind spot going around the corner.
Missy was wonderful and the cottage was great! Everything was as expected from the listing description. It was the perfect place to stay, I would definitely stay here again!
Missy greeted us warmly and showed us the accomodations. The promised cookies were a welcome treat. Everything was as stated and spitspot clean.
Wonderful, friendly, solicitous host. The cottage was comfortable and well supplied with essentials like salt and pepper and cooking oils and such as well as towels and paper products. The view of Pike's Peak from the back yard was awesome and the neighborhood was quiet but well=situated fro various outings.
I think this is our third time staying at Missy's, ever since the first time it felt like staying with family! She goes above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, easy and enjoyable. the cottage is always clean, well stocked and the treats are the cherry on top. Homemade cookies yum! She is helpful in answering any questions about the area too. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend!
Our host Missy and her daughter were fantastic. They could not have been more helpful. The cottage is actually better than listed, absolutely immaculate. The cookies that were waiting for us were delicious, some of the best we have ever eaten! We did not have a car but there was parking available. The cottage is within walking distance of Colorado College and many other amenities. If we ever visit this area again we will stay here.
Our stay at Missy's cottage was wonderful! The place is clean, cozy, spacious, and conveniently located near the center of town (5 mins drive). Missy was very flexible with our arrival time - we arrived around 10pm from Denver and she left the front porch lights on, a welcoming message on a blackboard (so unexpected!) and delicious cookies on the kitchen table.
The kitchen was fully stocked, with breakfast items in the refrigerator for our use and plenty of coffee. The bathroom had extra items, such as toothbrushes, in case you forgot.
We hope to return soon and highly recommend!
