About this listing
Are you looking for a comfortable, cozy cottage (with all the necessities) in the historic part of Colorado Springs? The views of Pike's Peak and Cheyenne Mountain are spectacular!
The one-bedroom cottage is located in the historic heart of Colorado Springs and within walking distance (or a short drive) of comfy coffee shops and one-of-a-kind gift shops. Of course, the views of the mountains are breath-taking!
The cottage has one bedroom (full size bed), one bathroom (with shower), kitchen (even the Crock-Pot is available!), and living room (with a queen-size sofa sleeper). Best of all, there is a working, vintage juke box in the living room.
The cottage has been lovingly decorated with vintage family furniture which includes Grandma's 1950s chrome kitchen table. As you can imagine, Grandma served many delicious homemade meals at this table!
Come stay with us, enjoy your stay in Colorado Springs, and become a part of our family.
Best of all, Grandma's special cookies are waiting for you upon your arrival!
Other wonderful things: DirecTV, wireless internet, well-behaved pets okay, no smoking, automatic ice maker, beautiful front porch
I really do enjoy well-behaved pets, and I have a nice fenced-in area that your pet can do his/her business. I do ask that you use the pooper-scooper that is located in the fenced-in area. Yes, there will always be a doggie treat at my back door! :)
The cottage is located right behind the main house. I also have an upstairs apartment that I rent through (website hidden).
There is parking right next to the cottage, but please be careful as you drive behind the house to get to the cottage. There's a blind spot going around the corner.

Missy was a dream host! Not only did she make my trip easy with directions and details, I arrived to an immaculate cottage with homemade cookies, fresh fruit, juice and bagels! Missy takes such pride in welcoming guests and making them feel at home. The cottage is absolutely adorable with a super comfortable bed, a working vintage jukebox and a spot out back to sip wine in front of a one-of-a-kind retro camper. There is everything you need in the kitchen to make a gourmet meal from a KitchenAid mixer to pots and pans. About the Host, Missy
I am an elementary school principal, and I have the best job in the world! My hobbies include playing the piano and trumpet, being an amateur (ham) radio operator, and visiting with my grandchildren via the Internet. I am very much a "people" person, and I enjoy building relationships.
My favorite book of all time? Tuck Everlasting.

I guess my life motto would have to be our school's motto: If it is to be, it is up to me.
