The house has a large lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry facilities. wifi. You can eat outside while enjoying the view of the olive groves or you can sit under the shady Pine tree canopy in the garden. The house is in an extension of the adjoining farmhouse where the owners reside. The town of Arles, where the painter Van Gogh lived offers many attractions like: International festival of photography, Roman theater and ancient arenas. The sea and the beaches are only a half an hour away by car. There is also the national nature park of Camargue where you can observe flamingos and wild horses. • My best stay with airbnb. House was perfect - clean, spacious and cozy. Jaques and Bernadette are very nice people and make you feel welcome. Jaques also showed us everything we needed in the Arles which was very helpfull. The location is perfect is you want to discover west Provence. Eveything is close and you don´t have to use motorways which are quite expensive.
    Absolutely recomended!

  • Our say with Bernadette & Jacques has been a wonderful week. They made us very welcome and were most helpful giving us the benifit of local knowledge when asked. Jacques drove us the short distance into Arles town to give us a general idea of where things were, which was a thoughtful and useful thing to do. The accommodation is well equiped, spacious and comfortable. We often enjoyed our breakfasts sat outside in the warm September sunshine overlooking the large and well tended garden. The quiet rural setting was just to our taste, our delightful hosts being understandably proud of their lovely home.

  • We received the warmest of welcomes to this quiet, well kept accommodation. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. Everything was clean and well appointed, with a lot of space. Arles is a great location to explore the region

  • Our stay at Jacques and Bernadette's place was a great experience overall. Jacques and Bernadette are gracious hosts who were extremely helpful with all our questions and needs. Jacques gave us a brief tour of Arles upon our arrival to show us the basics which saved us a lot of time later on.
The house is charming with its beautiful garden. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious to cook, clean etc. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. It is located very conveniently to Arles-about a 5 minute drive to downtown Arles-hence gives the quiet time away from the crowds when needed. Overall, we strongly recommend this place for your stay in Provence.

  • Everything was like described. Bernadette and Jacques are lovely hosts and very discreet. They explained everything to us at our arrival and we could always ask them. They had some tips for us where to get the best bread or olive oil and where overall very helpful.
The flat is very well equipped and also the kitchen has a lot of things, so you can really cook a full meal in it. There is a small and quick washing machine and you have really much space for all your stuff. The toilet is separate and even in the bathroom there is a lot of space for your cosmetics. Towels and bed sheets are provided.
The flat lies in a very quiet area. Most of the time you can only hear the birds or the leafs of the trees.
Both hosts speak very clear French and English so communication was no problem for us.
We can only recommend this apartment and Bernadette & Jacques as hosts.

  • This unit was larger than we had expected. We had plenty of room to move about. Everything was supplied and our stay was most enjoyable. Bernadette and Jacques were friendly hosts and helped make our stay most pleasant.

  • We had a wonderful stay on Jacques and Bernadette's farm. It was the perfect location to base ourselves for 8 days of exploring Provence. The apartment had everything we needed. Including a well stocked kitchen which was essential as we cooked most nights, following our trips to the local markets to buy amazing produce. We definitely recommend this as an ideal place to stay in Provence. Thank you again to our lovely hosts.

  • Wonderful and helpful hosts. The house is in the country and only accessible by car but the hosts sent very clear directions so we did not get lost. We stayed a week and toured the whole Provence area. The house is most suitable for a couple as there is only one bedroom with a double bed but there is a pull-out futon in the living room if more sleeping areas are needed. The house consists of one bedroom, a living room, toilet and bathroom and a large eat-in kitchen. There is also an outside terrace which we could not use as we did not have hot weather. The house is adjoining that of the host but it is private with a private entrance. It is located in a quiet country area next to an olive farm so there is no noise at night. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped with cutlery, dishes, a kettle, coffee-maker and toaster and pots and pans. There is a large fridge and a gas stove and an oven. There is not a microwave, however. There is a very large supermarket just a 10 min drive away for those doing their own catering. Also, there is a washing machine in the house, which is like a small one-bedroom apartment. Towels, kitchen linens and sheets are provided. We enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home. The hosts, Bernadette and Jack are very helpful and very kind. They will try to help make your stay wonderful. I only spoke French with Bernadette but Jack speaks very good English. Despite the uniformly bad weather we experienced,we could not have had a better stay. We highly recommend this spot.
To Bernadette and Jack,... thank you for your wonderful spot and for all your help.
