To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
A photo ID will need to be presented, which will be photographed.
All our apartments are non-smoking apartments. For smoking please step outside and make sure you don't leave cigarette butts behind.
No pets or animals are accepted.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.
Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
Linen is supplied. Bath towels are not to be used for beach.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
We have endeavoured to provide quality service to all our visitors and have provided you with a clean and tidy apartment and we ask that you follow some simple guidelines.
Before you vacate, we ask that you ensure the following has been done:
* Please wash any dirty dishes with the dishwashing facilities provided.
* Wipe the table, bench/stove tops of food spills to avoid staining and insects.
* Please leave oven, cooktop and microwave in a clean condition.
* Please remove any left over food from fridge and put into bins provided.
* Please empty any rubbish bins.
There is a standard cleaning charge at a nominal rate included in the price for your accommodation. However, should there be any extra cleaning required upon your departure; the cost for this cleaning is $50.00 per hour which will be invoiced to you, the guest.
Note: Variances can be agreed on, but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
Guiseppe was super kind, helpful and flexible to meet with us having both local info/map and plenty of welcoming household extras for us. It was our perfect "home sweet home"! Great location - central to everything. Short walk to beaches, parks, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, food stores, atm/banks and all else you could need...locals say everything is just a "quick tram ride" which is very easy, accessible, clean to use especially getting into the city center of Melbourne (approx 25 mins on 3a or 16-no need to transfer-drops off at Flinders station) or wherever else your travels take you. Check out local markets and night markets, music, have a big brekky, happy hour is a must, definitely a coffee even if you don't drink it, some beach time on St Kilda with a sunset penguin watch and whatever your heart desires. Cruise terminal is approximately 10 minutes by taxi. Everyone everywhere was super friendly and helpful. Luna Park is a short walk as well. Enjoy!
Giusuppe and Susanne were a very helpful host always answer questions very quick. The studio is perfect (exactly as showed in the pics),very functional with everything you need to feel comfortable during your stay. The studio was in a perfect location with all facilities around. Also the studio is in a very quiet building and the neighbours are very friendly.Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in st kilda area.
Absolutely loved my stay at StKilda* Apartment. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, modern and had everything you needed. Beds were really comfortable with good quality sheets,quilts and towels. so close to tram and city. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much.
A great little studio with everything you need. Downside is that the location is a bit rough especially by night, and the adjoining apartment is home to a smoker. Overall value is good but for my next stay I would look at Elwood or South Melbourne neighbourhoods as they are more pleasant and mainstream. Full marks to the hosts for being pleasant, helpful and quick to respond.
We had a great time staying in St Kilda. The studio was lovely. I would love to stay again.
We stayed for 4 Weeks in this nice Apartment. The location is perfect, the tram station is around the corner and there is also a supermarket in the near and just 15 minutes walk distance to the beach. We really enjoyed the stay there.

One normally visits St. Kilda in search of an exciting vacation. I chose to stay at "Living Like Locals" in St. Kilda for business as it was a very convenient 3minute/2 stop tram transit to the office located at Middle Park. This studio apartment turned out to be a great find!
I was meant to arrive on Sunday night at 10pm but arrived half an hour earlier. I admittedly felt quite nervous waiting in the very dark street in the rain with luggage. I called the hosts & was relieved & impressed to see them arrive within only 3 minutes. What service!
St. Kilda is a colourful district where one can find anything & everything - it's what makes this area fun & so popular. However, I was happy to feel secure once I'd entered the front gate and also within the studio apartment itself.
The internet access provided for an extra $20 is super-fast and highly rcommended. The double bed is very comfy (it's a regular double, not a queen size). The room also has a big TV and a hifi. The kitchen is very practical & includes a microwave. It also had some basic cooking necessities in the pantry. Arriving late at night to find a bottle of red wine, Italian mineral water & some fresh fruit was a lovely touch which was most appreciated! The bathroom was clean and functional. Great hot water pressure in the shower (although the basin would be a little small for a man who wet-shaves). It was great to have a private washing machine & both indoor & outdoor drying lines. The hosts kindly left some laundry detergent as well.
Minor, resolvable maintenance issue - the screen door could not be locked from the outside when going out - otherwise, a very clean, tasteful and very convenient place to stay in Melbourne. I would certainly return here.
