The space
Due to the current uncertainty with Covid we feel we need to talk to guests before booking so Maythorn Farm Stevington is not taking bookings via this site.

The barn is really stunning with vaulted ceilings, a stunning open plan space, great views all round and huge patio windows. High quality wifi (plus cat for e.g. business travellers)

Our guests tell us they don't want to leave!

Flexible sleeping, 2 singles convert to a king and 2 singles convert to a super king, can sleep 6 adults in 6 separate beds. NB loft room into the eaves has reduced headroom.

Ideal for family socialising in a place that feels special - we have hosted a family treating mum with a weekend away for mothers day, a Hindu pre wedding ceremony, 21 birthday celebration, a family going to a Christening, a wedding party, a family from around the globe meeting up close to London, a family meeting for a children's birthday party, families with wheelchair users and the elderly, families in between house moves.

With the big table and open plan space its perfect for crafting - we had 4 ladies treating themselves to a sewing weekend and we had filming here in Feb for a crafting program which will be on the telly.

For business travellers, its a home from home with excellent facilities and very secure on parking for numerous vehicles behind security gates.

Sporting groups can stay for sporting training away from home with lots of facilities and competitions in the area such as Box End Park and Keysoe Equestrian Center (we had an amazing family competing in the national athletics champs in Bedford).

Pet owners save on holiday pet car by bringing your pet with you.

Maythorn Farm Stevington is very suitable for people with disabilities with ground floor bedrooms, level access floors inside, fabulous large altro floor wet-room and ramps to assist access across door thresholds. We have 5 star reviews from disabled guests - get in contact for more info.

Slate floors, oak windows and doors, fabulous kitchen (Neff hide & slide oven, induction hob). Minstral's gallery with seating for quite contemplation and reading, underfloor heating.

We welcome business travellers and have been delighted to host several business travellers including a fantastic group of builders who have stayed with us for several months (but builders etc please note this is a high spec home so read the house rules carefully, no offence, hubby and son are builders!)

Canoeing, horse riding, cycling, walking, swimming on the doorstep. Lovely walks in the North Beds Wolds including the Ouse river which is a stone's throw away and visible from the barn and private walks in 25 acre wildflower meadow on site. Easy access to London (35 min train).
