This home was custom-built in 2014. Upgrades are abundant including heated floors, gas fireplace, boot dryer, clothes-drying closet and heated ski/bicycle storage. The kitchen is very well-equipped with dishes, cookware and spices. Totally treed and private yard with two decks, off the living area and off the bedrooms. Impeccably maintained and cared for. In the living room, you have your choice of books and board games to try out during your stay.

The space
The finished, heated, two-car garage with epoxy floor serves as a toy box for your ski and bicycle equipment. It also contains a boot dryer and heated clothes-drying closet. Your gear is always ready for the next activity!

In this home, you will have access to the upper level great room and half bath, two main floor bedrooms with private ensuites and the basement bedroom/rec room with two queen wall beds, a bathroom and a 75" 4K TV with 5.1 surround system.

While still within Golden town limits, this house is located partially up an adjacent mountainside and overlooks the town. It is a 5 minute drive to downtown Golden, or 20 minutes to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Golden is central to the Kootenay Mountains playground. Lake Louise, Radium Hot Springs, Fairmont and Revelstoke are all short drives. Golden... all the activities minus the crowds and high prices!

My family fell in love with Golden about 10 years ago. This is my brother's favourite place to snowmobile and he suggested the rest of us come check out the area. Soon after, my parents found a beautiful lot with an incredible view of the valley and decided to build their dream vacation home on it, and I get to manage it :) We love to spend as much of our time off here as possible and hope to move here someday, but so far our work is in the prairies, so for now visiting will have to suffice!
