Located on the quieter side of Silver Lake, you can relax here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, listening to the birds serenade you. You are still within walking distance to several great restaurants, a Starbucks, three grocery stores, a drug store, and the "Lake" itself with walking track and dog park. You are only 5 miles to Downtown, 6 miles to Hollywood, 3 miles to Dodger Stadium, 2 to Griffith Park, and 1 mile to Glendale shopping, with easy access to the I-5, CA 2 and 134, and I-10 freeways.
This is an ideal location for your Southern California stay.
There is a bus stop at the corner where you can get to Downtown, Hollywood or connect to the Metro.
Remember, L.A. is a car-driving town. There are a lot of attractions within walking or biking distance, but most of our guests find they prefer to have a car. We provide you with one off-street parking space. Free street parking is also available in front of the house.
Other Things to Note
Our minimum stay is thirty days. You cannot get a larger, more private short-term furnished rental at this price--in such an awesome (website hidden)-weekly cleaning service is available at no extra charge.
Recycle as much as you can; pretty much everything can go into your recycling can except tissue and paper towels.

We love children and pets but we expect parents to supervise them at all times.
We supply plenty of linens but if you are on an extended stay, you might need to wash your own linens in the laundry that is provided. Our housekeeper will come in once every two weeks to change the bed and wash any linens as needed, along with her cleaning service.
You will probably need to restock some things yourselves like TP and paper towels. Soap and laundry soap are provided.
We are glad if you want to leave unopened food in the fridge, but please take or discard anything that is open.
We spent a month at Pat and Cindy's wonderful Silver Lake flat. Silver Lake is a good central location for touring LA and environs.
The apartment was very clean and well stocked with most cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, linens and other home comforts. The apartment also has a nice private patio that overlooks a green backyard. The outdoor space was a nice addition to our urban holiday. Having an on site washer and dryer and two HD TVs were also pluses.
Both Pat and Cindy were helpful in answering our few questions upon arrival. We appreciated that. All in all a great holiday. We hope to return sometime.
Our LA home away from home. This was our second stay at the house, and again, it did not disappoint! The house is very spacious and homey, clean, and quiet. We loved waking up and sitting on the large porch overlooking the hills. Will definitely tell all my friends to stay here whenever they're in LA.
We had a great stay at Pat's place. The apartment is clean, expansive and in a fun location. Thanks for everything!
Pat's appartment is great. It has lots of space and light and offers everything you need! I loved the place with all its little details: the patio, the garden, the barbecue, the comfy bed, the fully equipped kitchen and the view over the garden. The location is close to Los Feliz and Hollywood and Pat also offers you a parking spot in the driveway!
About the Host, Pat
Cindy has lived in Los Angeles for the past twenty-three years and pretty much loves everything about LA, especially the Dodgers. She has a great deal of knowledge about the city and would be happy to pass along any information to help our guests enjoy their stay. Pat, her partner, is from NJ and Virginia and still feels like a tourist here, exploring the great sights and sounds L.A. has to offer. We both love having people around, enjoying our AirBnb experience this past year. We are into our pets: Two small dogs Nonnie and Pinky, and the friendliest cat around, Puff Daddy. We welcome our guests to enjoy our spacious backyard to BBQ and just relax and soak up the sun. We live in one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Los Angeles, offering scenic hikes in Griffith Park, with spectacular views of the city, strolls around Silver Lake, and the unique shops of Sunset Junction. A paradise awaits.
