  • This is a cute little house in a quiet neighborhood with a nice big common room and patios outside with a view. It's a short walk to the beach and under a half hour drive to Ensenada and Rosarito. There is some construction going on next door but it didn't bother us too much.

  • We loved staying here! It's off the beat and path, but within driving distance to wine country, Ensenada, and Puerto Nuevo. We took a nice walk (20 min) to the beach where they sell yummy coconuts and other snacks, and horses are for rent. Leslie's home is adorable, yet comfortable--it has everything you need.. Don't expect a big night life and make sure to talk Mexico Mike to get the hot water heater turned on and to get pointers on restaurants and activities.

  • Leslie was very responsive to my multiple emails and the place was everything you could imagine. Definitely will be returning.

  • Leslie's place is perfect! Peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything. We will return as soon as we can. Don't miss Puerto Nuevo and the Valle de Guadalupe, the wine tasting beats Napa any day!

  • We really enjoyed Leslie's place! I went down to Baja with my in-laws and my 1.5 year old son and I can say for sure that the house was a joy for all generations! There was way more than enough space for us. The house was clean and we loved the unique decorations and style.

The neighborhood was great. We went for a few walks and everybody was friendly. We felt safe and welcome. The beach was just a short walk away and there were plenty of options of things to do within a 5 min. drive or so. Of course, you also have Rosarito and Ensenada within 30 min and both places also offer plenty to do.

We will definitely be looking to stay again on our next Baja Trip!

  • Leslie's house in Baja was a perfect spot to spend our anniversary weekend. The house itself is very nice, with a beautiful view of the estuary, fantastic artwork throughout the house, and lots of different spaces to hang out and relax. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is well-located; it was easy to get out for a night at La Fonda or Puerto Nuevo or a day full of wine-tasting in the Valle de Guadelupe. Would definitely stay again.

  • Leslie's place is a wonderful retreat while visiting baja. Her home is warm and inviting. It is artistically furnished and very well kept. Thanks to previous reviews, we brought fruit and veggies to feed the horses next door. Make sure to bring your own towles, paper plates, napkins. She provides a full stocked kitchen but I prefer not to wash dishes while on vacation. Our plans were in Ensenada so we missed going to the beach at La Mision and Ostrich farm. Will look forward to it next time.

    Thanks Leslie for having us!

  • Excellent house in the Mexican hills close to the beach. Tastefully decorated and with a wonderful outdoor area. Do not miss it if you are traveling in the region!

    July 2013
  • Beautiful Baja California makes sense when staying at Leslie's place.
Right in the middle between Ensenada and Rosarito, this place is amazing. We spent 3 nights and wished we could've stayed longer.

  • Beautiful home that feels like you are on a retreat in the mountains when you are only a few minutes from the beach! Lovely place with very helpful and friendly neighbors. The neighbors have horses that you can "rent" to take down on the beach. We also stumbled across an ostrich farm on a walk through the community! Be sure to bring firewood to burn a nice fire at night. Sleeps five or six adults comfortably. A very peaceful place to get away to!
