Check In
  • A beautiful and large space, in the perfect location. Close to some of my favorite bars and restaurants in Berlin, PLUS, steps away from the Ubahn and Tram... what more can you ask for?! The hosts were friendly, but also respectful of my privacy and space.

  • A great room and lovely welcoming hosts in an awesome location. It was so easy to get everywhere on the U-bahn and there were loads of places to eat nearby. It was the ideal place to stay -if I go back to Berlin, I'd love to stay there again.

  • We decided to come to Berlin on the short notice and didnt have aplace to stay. So after our city bike tour I checked places on airbnb and found Iskras place, since it was on instant booking. Iska responded me in the matter of minutes!!! He boyfriend met us in their place. It is a house, not an appartment for sure. With WONDERFUL court yard. The room was exactly as on pictures. Lots of books, clean towels, sheets and super comfortable sofa. My husband would tell me every morning that he slept amazing. Apartment located in GREAT neighborhood with SO many places to eat.We strolled around neighborhood at night and enjoyed every minute of it.We had a car and used the parking garage, that was 4 min walk from the house, paid 6 euros/night. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend their place.

  • Iskra and Lutz's apartment is the place you need if you're looking for a cosy, peacefull and extraordinary well located place to stay in Berlin.
My hosts were very welcoming and nice, they told me about the best places to go - from the bars and restaurants around to the latest art exhibtions to go.
The room is very pleasant. After a long day of walking, you will appreciate to leaf one of the numerous books around you and to rest on the comfortable bed. The window looks onto a little private courtyard so you can hear the birds sing in the morning ;).
    The bathroom was spotless.
    It's a place I naturally recommend.

  • We stayed several days with Iskra and Lutz.
Their house is a perfect location to explore Berlin.
It is located on a verry quiet courtyard, but when you leave the house you find yourselves directly in the and nice Kastanienallee.
Quick public transport to the center and many nice shops and restaurants at the doorstep!
Iskra and Lutz left us a lot of privacy but were there to help
us with information about restaurants/public transport/reservations/etc.
Highly recommended and we hope to come back!

  • Lovely room, lovely hosts. Iskra and Lutz were very welcoming and accommodating (with our arrival and departure, looking up timetables for us, giving us information on the city, things to do...). We had a perfect stay. Also, the neighborhood is PERFECT. When I move to Berlin, I want to live there. Go to brunch across the street at An Einem Sonnetag im August..

  • Our stay at Iskra and Lutz's place was fantastic! The apartment is perfectly located, really close to the metro station in a beautiful, vibrant neighborhood. They are perfect hosts, very kind and friendly at any time and gave us very good tips about the city. Their apartment is very cozy, clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and the only regret is that we did not have much time (three days). Berlin deserves much more! Thank you guys!

  • I had a wonderful time at Iskra's and her boyfriends place.
Everything was excactly as described: tidy, quiet, cozy and extremly well located. Iskra was very quick with her communication and she and Lutz were both very supportive, friendly and flexible. Although I spent only 2 nights there, I will definitely be back another time.
