I make myself available prior to your arrival and throughout your stay if you need me or have any questions.
I love being across from Hudson's Saturday morning Farmer's Market. Historic Warren Street is one block away. On Warren Street you can spend the day antiquing, shopping, stopping in galleries, drinking a craft beer at the Spotty Dog, or, sipping a latte at one of the lovely cafes.
Amtrak is one mile from my house. There are taxis waiting at the station to drive you home. Once you arrive in Hudson you will never need to drive. You will enjoy walking to the Farmer's Market across the street, to Warren Street where you will spend much of your time eating, shopping, and people watching.
I have an organic garden that you are welcome to enjoy and eat from during the season. I love cooking so you are provided the best equipment and the latest gadgets. The house is very high tech and instructions are sent to you to make your time relaxing.
I can arrange for catering or a chef to cook your meals. If you are a wine enthusiast I can arrange a Sommeliers dinner in my garden or, at a Warren Street townhouse. The Sommelier will pair the wine with your food. This is a lovely event.

They stay in this Hudson townhouse was fabulous. It was a large house that accommodated our two families- so many rooms to choose from. It is very tastefully decorated and very clean and neat. Everything was there ready for us - no need to bring anything. A fully stocked pantry, linens towels, paper towels etc. Great area, one street back from Main St with plenty of great restaurant options. Close to the ski fields too, which was great with all that snow. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Greg!
What a great place. We were surprised by the building size and the garden. The location is great and on saturday mornings there is a farmers market right outside of the door. The house is 1 block from antique row, if that is your kinda thing, who could ask for more.
We will definitely tell people about this place and all it has to offer.
I'm happy to hear everything was quite enjoyable for you and your friends in Hudson. I'm excited to eat fresh tomatoes from the garden and make some salads this week.
We are always happy when guests support the amazing Farmer's market across the street and enjoy the fruits and vegetables from the garden. The town of Hudson has restaurants on par with what I see in Manhattan, San Francisco and Boston. Makes coming upstate enjoyable since you only have to walk one block to great cafes, antique stores, and restaurants.
Hope the rest of the summer is great for you.
Start to finish, professional, friendly and a magical living space. Wonderful for group retreats, with keyless locking system, everyone can get in and out of the house safely. The backyard is a prize vegetable, fruit and flower garden, made available to guests, and an outdoor grill and bar for summer outdoor dining. Two dishwashers make cooking for large groups easy. We LOVED this place.
I'm thrilled you and your friends enjoyed the house, garden, and your time in Hudson. I can tell you love cooking and having the fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs from the garden allows you to fill up both dishwashers.
Thanks for thinking of our house when you spend time in Hudson. I'm always really happy when guests have a very enjoyable experience at the house. Thanks for your kind words, we appreciate what you said very much.
I hope the rest of your summer is enjoyable for you.
When I first contacted Hudson, it was for a booking less than a week away. Almost immediately, I received a response that my party could be accommodated. This was a huge relief when organizing lodging for a group of people on short-notice.
I and the other four people in my party had a fantastic stay. Hudson wasn't on-site at the time, but the electronic door lock system made this a non-issue. There is a lot of tech in this old house, and the instruction sheet I was emailed spells it all out. Cable TV, WiFi, and all the Airplay devices worked great.
The location of the house is great. You’re literally one short block from Warren Street where most of the shops and restaurants are located. It looks like there is a farmer’s market right across the street from the house on Saturdays, but our stay was during the week.
The kitchen of this house is a true gourmet’s dream. Everything is top-quality and I imagine the two dishwashers would come in handy for handling the large groups this large house can entertain. It’s a pity the farmer’s market wasn't in session during our stay. Making full use of the kitchen with farm-fresh ingredients is something that will have to wait for a future stay…
As for sleeping, there are an incredible amount of beds here. My bed was comfy and was dressed with clean linens. Considering the short notice, I was impressed by how clean and tidy the house was for our arrival.
This is definitely a fantastic place to stay while enjoying Hudson, NY!
This is a gorgeous, spacious, beautiful house to stay in with a large group of guests. The gourmet kitchen has every amenity needed, and the yard is a lovely bonus. Owner was very communicative and helpful, and sent a thorough and helpful guide to the house and neighborhood. Etsy loves this house!!! We'll be staying again whenever we have a large group coming to work in Hudson.
This was our second stay at the house. The key-less locks are a great addition, they worked well and made it very convenient for everyone in the group to come and go. The temperature in the house was consistently comfortable, and as always we appreciate the owner generously letting us make use of his wonderful gourmet kitchen.
Greg's place was absolutely marvelous! We were 7 of us who decided to do our retreat up there, and we had a fabulous quiet time. There was enough space for us to have break out sessions and work in isolation. We were very impressed with the consistent internet connection and as it was winter and snowy we spent our entire time indoors. The kitchen is well equipped, warm and friendly. They have a wonderful entertainment system that made movie night a breeze.
Hudson is a adorable town with a ton of antique shopping and great food. Most things were closed when we were there, so check on seasonal schedules before planning your trip. This wasn't important to us.
I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for the wonderful accommodation.
I already knew our stay would be great when our host sent an incredibly detailed message about all the aspects of the house, including cooking capabilities, an amazing sound system, a beautiful edible garden, and a very well though out access system. The space is absolutely amazing for a gathering of any size, and worked perfectly for our group which was in town for a wedding. It is particularly fun to cook in, as well. For those of you that like local food, do note that the farmer's market is ACROSS THE STREET. I would highly suggest staying here to anyone coming to the Hudson area. You'll love the house, you'll love the host, and you'll leave very happy.
We loved this place! Spent most of our time in the lovely garden enjoying fresh tomatoes and watching the frog catch flies while sipping wine. What doesn't grow in the garden is available right across the st at the Saturday farmers Market.
Greg was easy to communicate with , clear and easy going. We would rent again. or just try our luck showing up with a bottle of wine and seeing if he would take us in.
