Beautiful house with scenic landscapes. Just what we were looking for - and the view was even better than what you can see in the pictures. Well hidden from the noisy towns.
The house and room was a true gem and Gabriele did everything to help us (with travel recommendations) and make us feel welcome. And the homemade breakfast was wonderful.
About the Host, Gabriele
Who has not, at least once in his life, thought "I wish I could leave this crazy city life behind and move to the country"?
Our family has been lucky enough to do it for real.
After years of battling traffic and city smog, we were persuaded that the time had come to return to the simple, genuine pleasures of nature and the saner rhythm of a more rural life. And so, we sold our city apartment and began looking for our own paradise. After months of searching, we happened upon the charming old casale (stone farmhouse) of San Bartolomeo. It was love at first sight! We decided to buy it and make San Bartolomeo our country refuge.
Now our dream is to share this wonderful place with our friends and all those who love nature and elegant simplicity, who seek out fine, traditional local cooking, and who know how to appreciate the peace that surrounds us here.
We are waiting to welcome you!
