We had a great time at John's apartment in St. Ives. It is well equipped, cosy to stay in and cook in the evenings, but also very close to all the attractions of St. Ives. You can see the sea within 10 seconds of leaving the door. It has the added bonus (for us) of being on the Carbis Bay side of town offering a delightful walk up the coast. Overall very comfortable stay, and I would recommend it to a couple visiting the town.
We were delighted with the apartment, great location and very clean. Sadly the over didn't work when we were there, but it had everything else you would need for a great stay in St Ives. We'd highly recommend.
Amazing place for a family holiday. The flat is quite small but cleverly arranged with lots of storage space and very well equipped. It was very clean and have towels and cleaning products for us to use. It's only a few minutes away from the sea and amazing restaurants and pubs. We had an amazing time in St Ives, such a lovely village right on the cost. Our only regret was to stay there only for a week.
John was a really nice host, he answered really soon to all messages and he was really helpful when we asked something.
The apartment was really nice, clean and dry, the kitchen was nice and modern we had everything we needed.
The location is just perfect to do anything in St Ives, the sea is only 30 meters away from the door.
I would recommend it to everyone.
A fantastic apartment in the heart of St Ives - it's a great place to stay.
We got towels, tea and coffee when we arrived and there was loads of info in the apartment on things to do and how to work everything etc. Collecting the keys and sorting things out before hand was easy with great communication from John.
Although there is no parking at the apartment there is space to unload outside and the council car park is just round the corner (along with the entirety of St Ives!)
We had a great time in St Ives and would definitely recommend John and Apartment 6 - lovely!
Good contact with John before we arrived. Gave us detailed travel arrangements and key pick up instructions.
The apartment is in an excellent location. In the centre of St Ives close to the harbour. There is no parking but the station car park is a 5min walk away. We payed £35 to park for the week.
The apartment was clean and tidy. It is small but big enough for two people. It is well decorated. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided for us on our arrival. A lovely touch. Although the apartment is in the centre of St Ives it is quiet.
On the negative side for us. At the times we stayed the main fridge freezer was broken. They had provided a camping fridge for us but it was very small and noisy. As it is a self catering apartment this was not ideal. We had bought some food with us but if we had bought more and frozen food then we would have struggled. We had to keep the kitchen door shut to block out the noise. Whilst most utensils were provided we were also lacking a tin opener! A kind neighbour lent us one! John did kindly reimburse us some money in recognition of the inconvenience.
Overall, this is lovely place to stay and we would return.
The apartment was lovely and situated close to the sea, but also close to the local supermarket and the cinema, so the best of all worlds. Although we were only a stones throw from restaurants, pubs etc. it was very quiet and peaceful at night. The apartment was exactly as described and the photos were very accurate, if anything it was better. We were very glad of the thoughtful extras i.e. tea, coffee, sugar, milk and even a packet of biscuits, that John had left for us. I would thoroughly recommend the apartment to others.
