Noe Valley Studio with Grand Views

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Grand View Ave, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States

The Space

When you stay here, the entire apartment is yours! This mid-century studio-one bedroom (sort of halfway between a studio and a one-bedroom) apartment on a quiet street is nestled in one of San Francisco's most desirable neighborhoods. You're four blocks from 2 corner stores, 6 blocks from two cafes, a playground, and the Seward Slides parklet. You're 8 blocks from the heart of the Castro district; 6 blocks from Noe Valley's 24th Street Small Business District and farmer's market; and surrounded by some of San Francisco's most rewarding short hikes (to Twin Peaks, the Pemberton Stairs, and Mt. Davidson).

Thanks to San Francisco's rolling hills, this street level private apartment has fabulous views of the bay and downtown, and gets lots of light.

The place has a double bed in the bedroom (which is partitioned off from the living room), and a sectional couch in the main room that arranges into a second double bed. 1 private bathroom. The main room has a full kitchen, living area, bar height dining counter, and workspace table that can also be pulled out to seat 6 for dinner.

Plenty of free non-permit street parking is available. Public transit is also a snap! Grab the #48 bus right outside the apartment to go to Noe Valley's lovely 24th St or the Mission District and BART in one direction, or to the ocean in the other. You are also two blocks from the #35 that goes to the Castro and connects with MUNI underground and the F street car, and 5 blocks from the #33 that goes to Haight/Ashbury or Potrero Hill.

The house contains everything you might need: plenty of clean sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, and wash cloths for up to four guests; iron and board, curling iron, blow dryer, most small kitchen appliances, high-speed wifi internet, and computer access (my imac is set up with a guest user so you can browse the net or check your email); shampoo and body wash, laundry detergent, etc.

Coin-operated laundry is in the building. Breathe easy, because this building and apartment are strictly non-smoking, and unfortunately no pets are allowed.

  • Clayton was a wonderful host, and his place was perfect! The apartment is in a wonderful location and was a great space for my friend and I. Clayton was very accommodating. He checked in with us when we arrived and throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. He left us snacks and very detailed/helpful notes about the apartment and San Francisco. I would definitely stay here again!

  • Claytons apartment are totally comfortably and well equipped - and very nice located too. Bus 48 takes you right down to Castro and Mission, and stops just outside the door. The area are really cool, pretty and cozy and have a lot of good restaurants and shops. Clayton made our stay so nice. He was easy and fast to communicate with before, during and after the stay. Very easygoing and sweet too, and he even provides the coffee in the morning :o) Me and my boyfriend Jakob truly loved every minute of our stay at Claytons place. We will definitely look up his place first, when we are going to San Francisco again. Thank you so much Clayton. You are the best host :o)

  • Clayton's place was perfect. The view is AMAZING and the location was quiet but still just a short walk from it all. We flew in and out of Oakland and found a BART station (that got us to the airport in a hour) just a 10 minute walk from his place. His place was very clean, he left snacks and Ghiradelli chocolates for us - and his apartment was exactly what you'd picture in S.F. I loved it. He was very good at communicating with consistent emails and specific directions for getting the key, getting to the place, etc. I definitely recommend.

  • Clayton's apartment was perfect for us. It was our first visit in San Francisco, and the location is very convinient. The apartment was clean and the bed is comfortable, we would come back again.
Our favorite part was the Twin Peaks which is couple minutes away.

    Thanks Clayton!

  • Clayton has a beautiful place and was an amazing host. His place was very clean and accommodating with ample bed sheets and towels for 4 adults.

The view from his place is beautiful. Staying here makes you have the real feel of living in San Francisco.

There's a bus that picks you up basically in front of his building and one that drops you off at the corner. Walking from Castro Street Muni Station is a bit of a hike, but I enjoyed it. Taking a cab from Castro is pretty inexpensive too so transportation was not an issue.

I actually got to meet Clayton before renting here. He's the first host I actually met in person so far. He's a real genuine person and I would recommend his place to anyone who wants to sleep in a comfortable and clean apartment.

  • Clayton was the perfect host. He not only was accommodating with overnighting the keys to me, he left a cute little welcome basket with some of his favorite places to eat in town. His place was just as described in the post and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. I would recommend his house to anyone and I would gladly stay at his place again.

About
I work for Teach For America, and travel about once a month for work. In my free time, I love to bike, run, and walk the streets, stairs, and trails of San Francisco. I also love to sew, read, cook and eat, and travel for fun with my boyfriend a couple times a year. My educational background is in anthropology. Salsa is my favorite condiment, although I love many.
