Comfy Sofa, Wandsworth, London

Apartment - Shared room · Trefoil Rd, London, SW18 2EG, United Kingdom

The Space

Available are the couches, camp bed and high rise airbed all of which can be assembled in my living room. It is a great budget alternative for accommodation in a part of London that is a 15 minute train ride to the London Eye but in a residental neighbourhood!

There is a common near my house where people tend to relax in the sun - if we ever get it.

I have a local shopping mall near me called Southside. Though you're probably going to find the more impressive ones in other parts of London.

You'll be able to get to everything you'd want to see in London from here with great ease as the bus stops are a minute away and the railway station is 5 minutes. Where possible I will try to make myself available if you want a tour guide. Though even if it is just to route plan your day I'll always make some time to do this.

Hmm, if you stay with me can you please get WhatsApp on your phone. It is a fantastic communication tool.

Thanks.

Ronald

  • A very enjoyable stay. Ronald is a stand up guy and knows London very well. Also enjoyed talking at length with him. Definitely recommend.

  • At Ronalds house I met a very open, friendly host. I was out and about in London most of the time. But when I was "home" I felt safe. The cats are cute and easygoing. Being a very social and experienced host, Ronald is good to ask about travellers' trivia for London.

  • Ronald's a great guy, very willing to help and have conversations, and it was nice to chat with him. He has two very cute cats and quite a comfy sofa. But don't expect luxury or anything; the flat is very basic and actually quite dirty, and the bathroom could use some cleaning, and I was actually a little grossed out. But if you're just looking for a cheap place to stay for a night, it'll definitely do. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to get to the train station, and from there you can get basically anywhere!

  • Ronald was very kind and supportive. We also had interesting discussions about many themes. I really enjoyed staying in his flat. The room was nice enough, though a little messy:). Wandswarth truly amazing. Very recommended.

  • We had a great stay, Ronald is a very friendly guy and helped us a lot with information and all the stuff we needed. Also very good connection to the City! Thank you for everything!

  • Ronald was a kind host, friendly and easy going. I only stayed for a very short night, but felt reminded of the relaxing atmosphere of good old uni days. Though his cats didn't actually appreciated my dog's presence, the animals treated each other with respectful ignorance. :)

  • If you're looking for location, look no further. Ronald's couch is only a 15-20 min walk (east) away from the Clapham Junction, which is one of the central area on the west side. Not far from his you have, groceries, bars and restaurants. Westminster, which is the lee touristy area, is only short bus rides away, which you can catch in the Clapham Junction. Ronald was a nice host. He carried my bags in for me when I arrived and immediately showed me around the house. He was quite helpful during my stay. It could have been a bit more tidy upon my arrival but I guess that's what you expect to see when everyone wants to rent your place back to back.

  • Ronald was a very friendly and accommodating host. He hooked me up with a sim card left by a previous guest so I didn't have to buy one. He fed me and also took me out to the local watering holes which was nice. The fold out bed he provided was comfortable. good price and location. compared to a night in a hostel his "sofa" can't be beat.

About
Hello everyone and thanks for coming to check out my page, I really love this site. I got into hospitality on a similar site called (website hidden) but the novelty there has now ran out for me! I´ll share a few of my hobbies with you. I enjoy skydiving - I've got 51 jumps. Taekwondo - I got gold at the London championships. Nationals here I come. Parkour, Trampoline and Gymnastics - right now I teach children. There´s always surprises. I was meant to go to India on a 3 month voluntary work role, Sept 2011. It fell through because my passport got stolen ;-( It was not such a problem because I had been before and through not going got into the work I now do! I'm friendly, helpful, patient. Ask me anything more though I hope you got a snapshot of me here. Best, Ronald P.S. Please tell me what you expect from me in terms of company during your stay in the UK. I try to make myself available but there will be times where I can´t be with you. Thus if you fancy the idea of a buddy to sightsee with tell me and I would take in someone else who I think is a good match.
