Best Location in the Mission District. Our comfy one bedroom is located right in the middle of the best the mission has to offer. Great bars, amazing restaurants, unique shopping and sunny parks, and public transit, all just right outside your door.
Our one bedroom apartment is true city living. The large bay windows overlook an exciting neighborhood filled with art and culture. Not the quietest apartment but it's right in between the best restaurants, bars and parks in the city. Our apartment is perfect if your looking for an authentic San Francisco experience, it overlooks one of the most amazing and famous murals in San Francisco. Built in the 30s in a style called the "common man's house" you can see period details in the moulding, doors, old murphy bed style closets, and quaint breakfast nook. We love our little apartment but it does show its age at times.
We have a brand new queen size bed, TV with Roku and WiFi. Oh, and we've had guests rave about the great water pressure.
Our one bedroom has everything you need for your short or long stay, but sadly we do not have a balcony or yard. Please be respectful of our neighbors by not lingering in hallways or stairs.
Interaction with Guests
When you stay with us you will have complete privacy. We'll show you in and then you are on your own. But if you need anything we're just a phone call away.
We are surrounded by some of the city's best restaurants, shopping and public parks. The beautiful Dolores Park is 2 blocks away and features some of the best views of downtown San Francisco.
The Castro is located right down the street. Some notable restaurants and eaterys nearby include Defina Pizza, Farina, Tartine Bakery, Lolinda, Loconda, Flour + Water, Commonwealth, Craftsman and Wolves, Mission Cheese, BiRite Creamery.... just to name a few.
We are located 5 short blocks from the Bart station which connects to the airport. The Muni bus stop is right outside and the busses run about every 10 minutes during the day. Our public transportation system is easy and convenient.
Other Things to Note
This is a very spacious one bedroom that is ideal for a couple, we do not charge extra for an additional person to sleep on the sofa but please let us know if they'll be additional guests before your arrival.
No smoking inside the apartment please and no pets. We know you are here on vacation and we encourage you to have a great time during your stay. We have wonderful and pleasant neighbors. Please use common sense and be respectful. Thank you.
This was a great experience. You can't beat the location, close to lots of night life and great food as well as a quick walk to a train station. Check in was a breeze as well as check out. The apartment has a full kitchen so if you want to make meals you will be well equipped. Lisa was quick with any responses and helpful with any tips. 10/10 would go again.
Great location with lots of great restaurants near by. Flat was much older than the pictures reflected. Flat was also very noisy.
Had an amazing time in this cute apartment in the Mission. You can't beat the location, Lisa was very responsive and helpful, and the place was clean, spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
Great location and great host- very spacious and homely. Would definitely stay there again!
This is an amazing apartment, and it’s in a prime location. This was my first time being in San Francisco, and the second I walked into the apartment, I felt extremely lucky. The apartment was clean, and spacious. I think this is the perfect weekend getaway spot. Lisa, was easily available and is a great host.
A great, spacious apartment. Loved the location and the feel of the space. Responsive and flexible hosts. The best water pressure ever.
Lovely and central. Lisa's apartment is steps away from so many delicious restaurants, cafes & bars and cute little shops! There was so much to eat/see/do, we almost didn't make it out of the neighbourhood. You'll like it here.
Hello! My husband David and I have lived in San Francisco now for 15 years. We run a small business in the Haight and we're new parents. Since the birth of our little one we've been trying to get some traveling done since we don't have to worry about school. We love our apartment in the mission, the neighborhood is the best in the city. Even after living here for so long we still haven't tried every restaurant but we're not giving up. While the rest of the city may be foggy or cold you can usually find us on a blanket in Dolores Park with a bag of carbs from Tartine or Arizmendi's or a burrito from Cancun. We live by saying San Francisco is a city of leisure.
