Interaction with Guests
I will be in and out during your stay and am knowledgeable about the area and the activities it offers.
Our neighborhood is amazing! There are coffee shops, bars, restaurants and parks within walking distance. Edna valley wine country is a 15 minute drive from my house. Surf spots are moments from the door step. We have ocean on one side and coastal mountains on the other. This is a family friendly vacationers paradise with so much to do and see: sea elephants, monarch butterfly migration grove, golf courses and lakes all nearby.
San Luis Obispo county has many great hikes, delicious food and kind people.
There is plenty of safe street parking right in front of the house. The county busing system stops a few blocks away which can get you from Santa Maria to Paso Robles. The Amtrak train station is a short walk. If you are looking to just get to Pismo it is an easy 10 minute bike ride or a 5 minute drive. San Luis Obispo is a 15 minute drive.
Other Things to Note
There is a bike, beach towels, a kayak, paddle board, surf board, and boogie boards you can use while you stay.
I have connections for surf lessons and personally offer private yoga sessions.
This is a peaceful creative home not a hotel, please keep it clean. Pets are allowed as long as you clean up after them. Smoking is okay outside. There is a shared wall with neighbors, please be conscientious of noise.
My wife & I spent the Labor Day weekend at Gina's and it was perfect. I booked late and Gina was quick to accept our booking, the home is very clean and comfortable. We spent most of our weekend traveling but it was nice to have a cozy home to spend our nights, thank you Gina for making our weekend trip awesome! :)
I stayed at this lovely place during a drive down the coast. I arrived at night, and Gina was sweet and let me know that she was heading to bed, but I should feel free to enjoy the living room/kitchen when I got in and didn't make me feel like I would be imposing by arriving late.
The room was clean and had what I needed, and the house itself was wonderfully decorated and spotless. The private bathroom was a nice treat, and had shampoo and things to enjoy as well. I wish I had the time to spend more time at Gina's. but was so grateful for the night of lovely sleep to break up a long drive!
It is a pity we changed our plan and cancel Santa Marina's schedule , but during contact with host Gina, I always feel comfortable and shine. Thanks Gina.
We were very impressed with the accommodation offered at this location. The house itself was wonderfully decorated, well kept and very tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting to Gina and she was a fountain of knowledge in regard to the local area. We are very grateful to Gina for her hospitality and friendly attitude!
Gina was wonderful to stay with, she was so welcoming! The house was adorable and I loved the atmosphere of the whole neighborhood. If I ever pass through again, I will definitely stay here!
Gina was a great host. Although she couldn't be at home, she generously offered us an additional room at no charge. The house was cosy & nicely decorated with additional blankets & pillows if necessary. We were given free use of the kitchen as well. Very satisfied with our first Air BnB experience. =)
Great house, great host. Nothing bad to say at all. Had a good chat with Gina during our stay, she's a very friendly person.
