FANTASTIC location, central to all the main sites in Florence. Friendly, helpful staff who were easy to get in touch with when we had questions. Only downside - main bedroom is noisy (although that's the trade-off for a super-central location) and the apartment is up six flights of steep stairs with no lift, so be prepared! But we would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is fantastic for 6 of us.clean and comfortable. The apartment is located at 4th floor without lift. So if u have many luggages, be prepared for the "exercise". I never met mr danilo. We arrived at the address about 5pm with door locked. When press the door bell, we got into the basement and met a young lady. Apparently she was not holding the keys to the apartment. She was kind enough to call her colleague to guide me. Less than 5mins, a guy came to me and bring me to an office for check-in. I guess he is the staff of mr danilo. He was very friendly and show us the apartment and brief me the attractions of florence. He was very kind to bring all our heavy luggages to the 4th floor. Overall the apartment is same as per described. We had comfortable stay. The only bad thing is only have to walk up to 4th floor without lift. Great location. 5mins walk to piazza signoria and uffizi gallery. Located at busy street with shops and food around the apartment
The apartment is in a fabulous location. The after office hour checkin service was of great help to us since we arrived later than expected. The climb up the 60+ stairs can be hard if you have big suitcases as we did. The managers were always available by phone and were very helpful.
can't beat the location.
charming yet modern.
Pictures are accurate.
Our family of 5 had plenty of space.
Wifi works well
Danilo was nice and helpful.
helped with luggage and getting us a taxi.
Minor downsides: 4 flights up, some street noise.
Would definitely recommend and stay there again. . Great value and location.
This flat is located in the heart of Florence -- above fantastic boutiques, near restaurants and walking distance to everything you want to see and do! The flat itself is quite stunning with gorgeous architecture and nicely furnished. Large closets to store all of your luggage and spacious overall. The one drawback was you can tell that the flat has not been adequately maintained. There were at least 5-6 lights out and one or two were actually hanging from the ceiling by the wires. I would advise the landlord to invest the time and money to give this unit the love it deserves, as it truly is a gem.
Our family of two adults and two boys aged 12 and 9 rented the apartment for a two night stay. The apartment was in a superb location right in the heart of the beautiful city.
The whole booking process was made very easy and communication with the host was straight forward. We met Danilo in his office and he escorted us to the apartment and had a second man also help with our bags which was greatly appreciated.
The apartment was very spacious and clean and ideal for our family. There were two bathrooms which made the mornings a breeze. The main bedroom was a beautiful feature of the apartment with the amazing ceiling.
As mentioned the apartment was very centrally located to all of the main attractions and within a stones throw of so many restaurants.
The only negative was the noise from the street however it is to be expected when the apartment is in the centre of a very busy city.
Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment for a family.

About the Host, Danilo
I arrived in Florence from southern Italy (Salento) 11 years ago. After finishing University, I discovered my passion for hospitality when I decided to open Bed & Breakfast Leopoldo. I am a big fan of motorcycle racing (I have a Ducati Monster 620ie) and I love to spend time with friends. There is nothing I like more than to ensure that all of my guests feel right at home in Florence!
I know that you are going to spend some time in a new city, and I want to do as much as possible to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
