Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • We were six people and had a great stay at the apartment. Lana was extremely helpful in arranging day trips and a great driver to take us around the country. She was very attentive to any requests that we had (refilling the filtered water tank, issues with the water heater, etc.) and the apartment was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the wi-fi, the patio, the kitchen, the washer, and the great location. Comfortable beds and a nice living room area for hanging out. Lana is very knowledgeable about the city and the country.

I highly recommend staying here, especially for a larger group! Hotels are expensive in Beirut, and this was far nicer and actually more affordable than if we stayed anywhere else. There is a 24 hour mini market on the corner, many taxis, and it is 2 blocks from my favorite coffee shop (Younes).

  • This lovely apartment is exactly as pictured. It is spotlessly clean. Big windows let in lots of light. Not to worry, beautiful draperies assure that you are undisturbed by early sunlight in the bedrooms. There is room to spread out and feel comfortable. The bedrooms are located away from the living area, so late night chatters and early risers never disturb those who are sleeping. The beds are comfortable and the showers are great. The towels are big and fluffy, there are no washcloths, but I always pack my own anyway. The kitchen is large with lots of pots and pans - there is a bit lacking in utensils, especially good, sharp cooking knives. There is a coffee maker, though we were unable to find filters in the local shops and kept forgetting to mention this to Lana - I'm quite sure she would have provided some had we remembered to ask. We had a couple of small problems which were remedied quickly and immediately, Lana was genuinely committed to our comfort and satisfaction. We pack lightly and were thankful for the efficient washer and dryer. There is a large balcony which is wonderful for morning coffee or evening wine. The apartment is centrally located in Hamra and many shops and restaurants are in easy walking distance. Right in the building there is a small shop with the basic necessities which is open 24/7. Additionally, many restaurants will deliver. We now consider this our own home away in Beirut and will surely stay here again.

  • The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Every room was air conditioned, the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, plates and other cooking utensils and the washing machine and dryer were in god order. The apartment had all the modern appliances expected from a modern apartment including a TV with the principal international satellite channels. It was conveniently located in the Hamra area which is a 10 minute taxi ride from Downtown and a 10 minute walk from the Corniche and the Riviera beach club in the city. The area of Hamra has a various bars and restaurants in the vicinity so it is convenient in case one wants to stay local. In addition, there was a small corner store next to the apartment which made the stocking of essential items easy.

Lana, from the apartment rent company, was a pleasure to deal with. She genuinely looked after us, leaving her mobile number with us in case we had any problems and meeting us both at the start and at the end of our stay. She gave us useful recommendations and tips for our stay in Beirut and helped us with taxi reservations to and from the airport and to the Roman ruins in Baalbek. She was a great host to have on side.

  • Very central and high quality apartment. You are two blocks away from the buzzing Hamra street. Aircon in all rooms and plenty of space. You have a small store downstairs where you can do all necessary glocery shopping. I would certainly recomment both the apart ment and Lana as a hostess. She was very helpful in getting us transport from the airport and gave us good advice in where to go out as well.
Thank you for a great stay!
