Decorated by an artist , quiet , romantic in old Paris giving on a quiet street with almost no cars .5 persons can stay there...extremely well located in the heart of Paris in a fashionable and cultural area next to 2 metro stations .
The apartment is quiet in a middle of a disctrict full of bistrots with terrasses, and charming boutiques "avant garde"The parc of the Cityhall of the 3rd disctrict is only 300m away. The marché des enfants rouges is next to it . We are at 5minutes away walking from the metro hub Republique where 5 train lines which take you quickly to many other places of the city
Here you have the feeling of being in a countryside little french city, but you are in the very center of Paris The flat has got 6 windows over a very quiet street almost entirely pedestrian looking more like a private square with its own « becs de gaz » street lights. The atmosphère is really parisian and romantic especially at night.
Plus it is a historical adress the "commune de Paris" used to meet there at this adress precisely.
The apartment is at 1st floor and looks south /south west with sun in the afternoon. 2 larges rooms and a decoration in the style of the 60s plus some modern items since the owner is an artist and owns a Galerie in Montmartre. Some of his creations can be seen inside and you can buy them if you ask him.
The appartment has a large bedroom for 2, a large lounge with 2 sofa (one is convertilbe) where 2 people can sleep;
You should know that there is second bedroom very tiny for one person where there is no windows except a small one on the door it is called " the boat cabin"
the bathromm is at the back and gives on a small outside garden which is on the roof of the building next door .
;This appartment is confortable, romantic in a safe area , great location . You feel like being in the "vieux paris"which still exists there .....
if you need somebody to clean the apartment during your stay ask it and you will be charged for it
A place highly recommanded for visitors who love art and picturesc places full of history .

If there is a perfect owner, he called Jean Michel. ALL devices in the apartment functioned accurately, exactly as described in the site. There is an "operating instructions" of the apartment, a book with everything someone might need: the functioning of everything (washing machine, heating, etc.). In addition, full of information about services in the neighborhood and in the city, including maps of Paris, metro, etc. He left five pairs of slippers for not walking shoes in the house.
Jean Michel was not in Paris to receive us, but he arranged for someone could be at the apartment in the hour of our arrival. Our stay happened at the time of the events of January 2015, and even then, Jean Michel wrote to encourage us not to go into paranoia and go out to visit Paris. The apartment is really full of art objects, demonstrating a very accurate style.
All this I can only strongly recommender this apartment and charming host.
Jean Michel is a very helpful and well-prepared host. He even made lunch reservations for us in advance of our arrival! There's a very thorough "apartment manual"with all the information one could need.
The apartment is great -- very well-situated in the middle of the Marais but on a very quiet street. It was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. We'd stay there again!
We had a very successful stay at Jean Michel's apartment, great location and wonderfully clean. Jean Michel was a very attentive host and always happy to help.
I had very good time stay in this apt, it was amazing location and the apt look as good as the pictures. Jean Michel was very helpful. very easy with the checking in time. he also telling the good restaurant around .
I would love to go back to this apt next time!
Jean Michel's apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris. It is in a very charming and convenient area in Paris and we found it to be comfortable. Jean Michel was so accommodating, arranging a cot for our baby and even giving directions to our can driver over the phone. Thank you Jean Michel, we loved your apartment filled with beautiful art and views of a quaint street. We highly recommend!
Jean Michel was away when I came to stay, however he had organised somebody to check me in and out and it couldn't have been easier! It is a great location, easily able to walk through the Marais and into the centre of Paris. Apartment was great, plenty of room and extremely well equipped with everything you might need.
