*Rated a Walker's Paradise with a Walk Score of 94. Excellent transit. Very bike-able.
*Roncesvalles Avenue ("Roncy") is the best high street in a "city of neighbourhoods" because it is has the widest range of shops and services, the best transit options, and it's the only one with a view of the lake!
*Lake Ontario's western beaches are 10 minutes walk away. There's a huge public pool on Sunnyside Beach. There are also boat clubs nearby, and a couple of lovely patios to enjoy a lakefront drink.
*High Park (10 minutes walk) is 400 acres of hills, streams, ponds and forest, including some first-growth trees.
*Queen Street West (aka West Queen West) in Parkdale is fantastically vibrant and diverse.
*Dundas West (aka DuWest) is absolutely popping with nightlife.
*On Roncy or Queen or Dundas there are so many great restaurants and cafés, it's too long a list to include here. Almost every cuisine on earth is available.
*Roncy, Queen and Dundas all offer superb shopping for fashion as well, with unique boutiques showing the latest looks as well as an abundance of carefully curated vintage shops.
