Carolyn goes above and beyond
Guests mention Carolyn by name in nearly every review, praising her warmth and local knowledge
Just thirty feet from a sparkling trout stream, this charming, historic Bunkhouse includes a queen bed, antique claw-foot tub with shower, a small dining area, living space, and sleeper sofa.
A fire pit, hammock, and swimming hole (for the brave!) will keep you occupied while you’re enjoying some R&R. Drink your coffee on the porch and enjoy the sunsets around the campfire overlooking the creek. Many folks have been tempted to stay all summer!
The space
While you can access Wi-Fi, this experience is otherwise much like stepping back in time. A unique opportunity to unplug and reconnect awaits you at Jakey's Fork.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire Bunkhouse cabin (private bath, bedroom, living room, and porch), as well as a creekside campfire area, picnic table, access to the stream, and unlimited star gazing opportunities.
Other things to note
We want to ensure our guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Therefore, breakfast can be arranged, as well as trail maps, bear spray/gear rentals, and accommodations for pets and special events. A $20 charge (per person) will be added for additional parties larger than two. Please call Carolyn to discuss details.

Neighborhood highlights
Dubois, Wyoming, just 3 miles up the road, is a charming western town of about 1,500 people. A grocery store, a number of restaurants and bars, as well as shops and guide services are close by. Or you may decide to remain on the acreage enjoying the pleasant creek-bottom ambiance and fishing in the pristine waters of the Jakey’s Fork.
Meet your host
I arrived in Wyoming 40 years ago and fell in love with the landscape and people. For 20+ years I worked in indoor and outdoor education and have owned and operated the Jakey's Fork B&B. It is a delight to have the world sit at my table and migrate from my data base to my personal address book. New friend all over the planet! Trip Advisor will reflect the fun!
