No smoking on the property....No pets! Not suitable for young children.
Mark and Elizabeth are doing it right- they have such a wonderful space, and did a fantastic job with the cottage. It's so perfect that you never want to leave. Main Street with shops and restaurants is super close and convenient and a quick walk away. We happened to stay in the house most of our trip, and couldn't be happier with what it had to offer. Would love to come back again and take advantage of the rad outdoor kitchen!
Extremely friendly couple came right out to greet us when we arrived (and we arrived late-ish, about 10:30PM) Very quaint cottage with refreshed vintage throughout. Untold amenities within, including robes, slippers, wine picnic kit, coffee, baking supplies, etc. etc. If you need something, it's there! Wonderful experience.
I have stayed in many airbnb's. This was the nicest of all. Great place. My family very much enjoyed the stay.
A beautiful, clean, quiet, well-stocked and impeccably decorated cottage with warm and friendly hosts. We would stay here again.
We loved this place and the owners, mark and Elizabeth. It was perfect for our needs ( two twin beds, one double). The kitchen was very well equipped and the pottery Elizabeth makes is terrific. We give this 5 stars.
Mark and Elizabeth,
Thank you so very much for the amazing environment you have created for others to enjoy. The cottage was such a perfect weekend home for our family to experience the beauty of Ashland. We so appreciate the effort that has been put into the entire property. The kitchen was so easy to use and the stove (I always wanted an O'Keefe & Meritt!) was a dream to cook on. Thanks to your lovely pottery, our boys set a beautiful table. The only thing easy about saying goodbye was knowing we will be back soon. Thank you to all your staff who were kind, helpful and informative. Next time we stay, we hope to meet you in person. Have a wonderful holiday season!

Mark and Elizabeth Schoenleber are artists (sculpture, pottery, drawing and painting) Mark has been teaching art at Ashland High School since 1983 and Elizabeth has been creating beautiful hand thrown stoneware pottery since 1988. After the favorable response from guests in our Terra Cottage Inn we decided to create a traveler's accommodation from our home of twenty years (2007). The High Street Cottage is a lovingly refurbished 1931 cottage that is tastefully decorated with just enough modern touches to make your stay comfortable and memorable. beyond the 'park and walk to everything' location... the High Street Cottage sits on a great piece of property. Koi pond, Gardens (flowers, herbs, salad and vegetables), decks and patios to relax and enjoy your stay a great laundry facility and a full outdoor kitchen. At the center of the property are our art studios and too many great amenities to list.
