A bus ride on the 29 to the nearest BART station will take about 15 minutes, the bus continues on to Stonestown Mall & Presidio.
Have you tried Uber? It's the Airbnb of taxis - the first ride is free up to $30, if you sign up and use my Uber code: uberairbnb1 . You will need to use a smartphone.
We are conveniently located 10 minutes drive from San Francisco airport, with easy access to 101 & 280 highways. I'd be happy to give more bus and direction details if needed. I have been living here for many years, and can give you a local's perspective into places to go and things to see and do.

Interaction with Guests
I will usually come out to say hello on your first evening, to see if you need anything. Sometimes I will may not meet my guests, if they come home late. But my guests are always welcome to come by and knock on my door if they need anything! I usually strive to give you some privacy at your cottage.
Plenty of free street parking with no time limits (this is rare in San Francisco) Express bus line to downtown. Peace and solitude. None of the city hustle and bustle. Have a good night's rest without having to listen to traffic nor the noise of inner city activities.
There are restaurants and shops within walking distance (albeit it is uphill to get home!) on San Bruno Avenue. I would recommend walking down Girard Street, and cutting right at Bacon to get to the shops.
Very convenient bus stop is located just a block away on San Bruno avenue and Ward. You can catch the 8X and 8AX to downtown from here. Please let me know if you need more specific bus details and routes. Some guests have been using Uber codes to get free rides. First time users to Uber can sign up with my Uber code for a free ride up to $30. Must sign up in the USA.

I must say Feli is a super host!! She did her best to help us before and during our trip. I'm so grateful to be a guest in her lovely cottage. I'll definitely stay again in Feli's if I have the chance to revisit San Francisco. Strongly recommend it!!!
I had a wonderful stay at Feli.
The cottage is like a cocoon, super comfi, well equipped and charming. I was also lucky to be in SF during a sunny week and had breakfast in the garden every day - Loved it!
The location is great (it is indeed easy to park in the street).
Thank you Feli for your warm welcoming!
Loved staying at this cute cottage on the hill top! It is a true San Fransisco experience. Host left informations on the cork board that were very helpful getting around her neighborhood. Easy access to the city and ver quiet location. I will for sure use this airbnb again!
Great and easy stay. Quick trip but easy to get to and effortless communication!
We stayed at SF Garden Cottage for 3 nights. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. Feli was very approachable before and during our stay (although during our stay it was by email as she was away). The cottage has a number of guidebooks and Feli advised us about places to eat, Uber taxi service, the local buses (which we used) and allowed us to store our luggage on the last day (at short notice) as our flight wasn't until 5pm. The cottage is up some steps but this serves to give the occupier a superb view. We walked along San Bruno Avenue and used the bus each day and ate at Breakfast at Tiffanys twice with no difficulties. We would recommend this setting if staying in San Francisco.
About the Host, Feli
I grew up in Malaysia - but am currently living in San Francisco. I love to travel - recent trips include Komodo, Himalayas and Borneo. My favorite cities are Lisbon, Istanbul, Hong Kong and San Francisco! I am both a host and a regular user of Airbnb, and consider myself very lucky to live in a city I love. I have been hosting for over a year, and have enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. I'd been happy to share with you my favorite local haunts!
Pink Martini, Gotan Project, Y tu Mama Tambien, ChungKing Express, learning foreign languages.
In my spare time I like to work in the garden, growing organic vegetables. I go running with my dog (a Formosan rescue from Taiwan) regularly, and I also love discovering new secrets of the city I live in (San Francisco) as well as eating the wide variety of food you can find here.
