Interaction with Guests
I can be very funny as well as very light during your stay based on the fact that I am living here too and I work from home, it depends of what my quests want. Let me entertain you and you will have a lifetime experience visiting Dublin and Ireland! Leave your comment on my mirror and smile!
Conveniently located in the inner Northside suburb Drumcondra, my flat is only minutes from Dublin city centre by bus or bike, or about 25 minutes on foot. Croke Park is less than 5 minutes walking distance, ideal place for fans of concerts and games. The local pubs, shops and restaurants are just down the road and Fairview Park (one of the most beautiful parks in Dublin after the world's famous Phoenix Park) is less than 900 meters and the sea from there less than 10 minutes walk.
Free off-street parking is included in the price and I can even arrange a resident’s entry permit for match or concert days when the roads are closed to through traffic. 7 minutes walk distance there is a bus stop (Bus 123) that takes you to the centre (O' Conolly) in 6 minutes. The Airport is 20minutes from the apartment by car. If you wish to use the public transportation to reach my place from the Airport then you need to take the Bus Number 41 or 16 or a specific Aircoach (not all the Aircoach buses stop there) and the Bus Stop is No. 47 - Drumcondra Rd, Drumcondra Station-Quinn's Pub. From there you turn left in the Clonliffe Road, you walk for about 7 minutes and the Distillery Road is at your left. You keep walking till the end of the Distillery road and the building is in front of you. Cross the small bridge and the gate named Distillery Lofts and the entrance of the building is the left one. Check my pics to be familiar with the exterior view of the building. Hope it helps.

Anastazio is a perfect host the loft is modern, fantastic, and very clean ! Number one!!
On arrival we were greeted very warmly by Anastazio, we were given very helpful advice on where to get some food that afternoon. There was also plenty of information around the apartment in the way of flyers/guides - key to our stay later on. The apartment was beautiful and very clean too!
Whilst we were there my brother completed an iron man competition and afterwards we went out for celebratory food and drinks. Whilst we were out I received a very upsetting text from Anastazio, using very negative language about 'the mess' we had made. We had not left a mess - we had simply looked through the flyers. This message had suggested someone had been sick and there was beer everywhere - this did not happen and i was horrified! We left our meal early as we did not want to upset our host and i was extremely worried about the message i had received. When we got home all of our stuff had been moved; coats put into the wrong wardrobes, and my brothers bike moved. I confronted Anastazio about the text and he told me not to worry - however, the language in the message suggested otherwise.
For the rest of the trip we felt very uncomfortable, therefore left first thing in the morning (and completed the Guiness tour which was amazing) and on return went straight to bed.
We were asked to leave a comment on his mirror, however we felt as though the bond on the first day had been tarnished so we left first thing in the morning. Over all, we felt as though that one rude text somewhat ruined our short stay in Dublin :(
Dear Kia, with regret I read your review and my willingness is not to create any problems to your use of Airbnb in the future. I am not willing to write details regarding your stay, it wouldn't be correct based on the fact that my response is on public view. Thank you for pointing in the beginning of your review my warm welcome and the information I gave to you in order to be familiar with the area, break the ice and get to knowing each other better. Thank you also for your kind words about my apartment, how beautiful and clean is, much appreciated. Accept my sincere apologies if my text made you feel upset, however I need to ask you to come in my position when I visited my apartment and I found a real mess Kia! I won't mention what I faced and how long I needed to clean the apartment. In addition it's better not mention in which condition you were when you returned back home that night after the celebratory drinks as you mentioned. I am a Host since May 2014 and thanks to my 100% commitment rate, my 91% 5* reviews and 100% response rate I am a SuperHost since September 2014. I have hosted more than 244 guests so far and trust me here, you were the first guests that I sent a message and asked for explanations. Booking a place through Airbnb doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want in someone's place, right? You need to respect the whole Airbnb philosophy and also respect that someone's opening his place, trusts you and welcomes you to his home and wants you to feel welcome and like home. But please, you need to show that you do care and unfortunately in your case you didn't, I am sorry to say that, but it's the ugly truth. No hard feelings from my side though, congratulations again for your brother's participation in Iron Man and I really wish you and your boyfriend to enjoy your wedding and live a lovely life together with many kids around! Best, Anastazio

About the Host, Anastazio
Hi there! I'm Anastazio, I am half Greek half Italian and as most of all the Greeks and Italians I am warm and passionate with people. I am positive and easy going person with good manners, romance and very good sense of humour! I just came from Dubai and I would like to have friends in order to help me love Dublin more than I love it now. I am here to make you change your opinion about Mediterranean people that they are only womanisers, some of them maybe are, but I and most of us we can be very good hosts!!! I love traveling, I have been to 43 places (abroad) until now so I can totally understand what you need in order to make your accommodation a pleasant stay and your trip here in Ireland and Dublin a lifetime experience. I love cooking, so if you call over we can exchange some good recipes or cook together and have fun before you start exploring the city and the near pubs! Get to know me well and be ready to live your myth...!!!
