The Logger's Camp cabin is a departure from everyday traded in for rest and relaxation at Feather River Hot Springs and it is my belief that the needs of my guests are of the utmost importance. I am committed to making sure you will have a relaxing and memorable stay and hope you will return for many years to come. I love it here and know you will too. Come RELAX on the river, enjoy the natural beauty of the area and REJUVENATE in our natural hot springs. Great for couples and solo adventurers!

The space
The Logger's Camp cabin is the most basic of the renovated cabins, but it provides everything for two guests to have a restful stay. It is one room with a bathroom, has a hand-crafted log frame queen bed and basic dresser. There is a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a set of dishes.

Out the front door is a sitting porch. You' ll find all sorts of outdoor public areas to make use of during your stay also. This cabin is one of three thoughtfully renovated cabins alongside the Feather River. Just steps from the river is a maintained natural hot spring soak area with two tubs fed by two separate naturally healing springs.

Guest access
Every guest is welcome to a soak in the hot tubs but there is no exclusive use without prior notice and an additional fee. There are many other outside guest areas including the outdoor kitchen, fire rings, picnic tables, games areas, and the performance stage which is used on special occasion.

Other things to note

Location

Twain, California, United States

Please see FeatherRiverHotSprings on the internet for more information. Activities in the area include golfing, boating, fishing, gold panning, bicycling and hiking. A birdwatchers paradise, eagles soar, osprey and kingfishers dive for fish and songbirds fill the trees. Sandhill cranes are often spotted in surrounding meadows. This stretch of the Feather River is ideal for rafting and kayaking.

The location itself is isolated but right off the highway which will take you to the nearest town of Quincy. There are also a number of other destinations nearby for any interest. Cellular phone services is spotty at best and there is no wifi on the property.

I am a longtime CCNP, originally from the Bay Area. I now live at and run a nursery here in Twain CA The nursery specializes in natives and cold-hearty, drought tolerant perennials and shrubs. The grounds at Feather River Hot Springs are landscaped with many of my natives and other trees and shrubs suited to this area in the Sierras. The cabins sit on 11 acres that spans the Feather River in the tiny town of Twain, twenty minutes from Quincy, a very special community in the Sierras Plumas County near Lassen. The property includes a tent camping area and RV sites but is not a mobile home park. There is an outdoor stage where I host small concerts for traveling musicians. Learn more at (Website hidden by Airbnb) The hot springs are a short walk from the cabins and are located on the river next to a small sandy beach. I live in a cabin on the property and am usually available to assist you in any way from suggestions for day hikes to preparing the evening campfire. I readily respond to phone calls, emails and texts from 9am to 6pm, except for emergencies, of course. I look forward to sharing this little bit of paradise and being your host in the Sierras. During your stay
I try to remain accessible and available, as much as possible, when needed. The people that come to stay do not need much assistance enjoying their stay, it is not hard to fill your days with rest and relaxing activities. Still I try to be present to welcome everyone when they arrive. I will pick up the phone from 9am-6pm, but text is easier sometimes to get the message through.

I am often between the nursery in Quincy and the Hot Springs. I am happy to be there to welcome all my guests. I Call on me for anything you need but I do not keep regular hours on site.
