Interaction with Guests
We are around when we are around, and we are not when we are not ;)
Liz lives next door and works as a freelance Pilates/yoga teacher as well as massage and CORE bodywork therapist. You may catch her has she does her rounds, but she is known to travel A LOT!
Jess is currently involved in her Masters in Psychology and doing internship work. When she gets the chance, she'll be hanging around the house as well making sure everything is in working order.
We have a team who are around to also help when we are not able to be there. So there's always someone in the house!
This is EMBASSY area. For guests who need to make their visa runs, work in the embassy or want to be NEAR the action but not IN the action, for our home is the perfect place!
We are surrounded by restaurants and malls nearby too! You don't need to go far to find what you need :)
And of course, we cannot stress the peace :) With the birds chirping every morning, you will sometimes forget that you are in the city.
- 8 minutes walk from the house to a bus stop where all the buses pass to head towards Kuala Lumpur's city center (Petronas Twin Towers etc)
- If you are big on walking, the city center and the LRT station (trains) is about 30+ minutes walk.
- it's very EASY to call or text for a taxi in our area. We can help you out on this as well.
Other Things to Note
Note that we are a townhouse that is 3 storeys high, there are no elevators. So guests who love a good trek will enjoy climbing the stairs to the Peace room.
The climb is a little less to get to the sitting room as it is on the first floor.
In general, there are no major rules. Just keep in mind that the neighborhood compound is small and there are families with children living here, so the silent night comes early.
Also, as there are kids around, they are up and about with much joyful enthusiasm after their school times and during the weekend! Expect high energies!
Smoking is allowed outside the house and rooms on the balcony and verandah.
This is a beautiful and spacious home with a lot of privacy located in a very nice neighbourhood close to the city centre. The house has all the facilities you’ll need and it comes with a great swimming pool and bbq-area. Both Lizz and Jess are great hostess that will assist you with everything and I can highly recommend this stay!
I thoroughly enjoyed my month here! It's a wonderful spot for those looking for the best of both worlds: a tranquil and quiet place to relax that's still only a stone's throw away from the action of the KLCC. The 'embassy area' of KL is a lovely part of town, and from the house you can walk in under ten minutes to a cluster of shops/restaurants and a bus stop with frequent service heading downtown (the Thai Embassy is also only ten minutes by foot -- it's absolutely the perfect spot for anyone doing a visa run!). The Ampang Park LRT station is just a twenty-minute walk, and getting taxis is also a breeze. The house is beautifully furnished and kept spotlessly clean, and the single room itself is very comfortable and quiet. Liz was also a great host -- helpful, accommodating, responsive, and extremely nice (as were all of the other people I encountered in the complex, actually). I really recommend the place whole-heartedly -- I definitely hope to be back there myself before too long. :)
A tranquil and relaxing place to spend some quiet time with clean and luxurious amnesties. Kudos to Liz and iris for the wonderful stay :)
Pleasant & quiet. Wide array of DVDs. Liz was very responsive in texting and Cora was helpful and attentive with going about the house! No one else was there during my stay so I had the whole house to myself. Loved the feel of the room I was given -- the books on the shelves were catered to girls! Overall, pleasant first Airbnb experience!
Loving property, perfect location, nice people, peace room and great experience indeed it was :-)
So I have been traveling with AirBnB for 1+ year now - and had previously lived in Kuala Lumpur - and this is truly where I'd recommend anyone to book if they visit KL for short/long stays.
Beautiful home it's a quiet place and quite spacious thanks to Jess for upgrading me to the master bedroom. Couldn't meet Liz as she was out of town but overall my stay was very pleasant. If you get a car then it would be easier as public transport is a 12 min walk but it's a good retreat maybe I will catch you guys in my other trip :)
Я очень рад, что жил в доме Лиз и познакомился с ней и ее друзьями! большой просторный дом, большая кухня, отличный район (спокойный и безопасный). Спасибо Лиз и Хаз за гостеприимство!
I am very happy to have lived in the house and met with Liz and her friends! large spacious house, large kitchen, great area (quiet and safe). Thank you Liz and Haz for the hospitality!

On my bodyworking days, I offer massage therapy as well as CORE bodywork which is a kind of myofascial release, a unique technique that you may be very curious to enquire about ;) If I am not bodyworking, I'm either teaching Pilates/yoga at home or at yoga studios nearby.
I'm also a HUGE petite wanderlust! I have no bigger love than to explore and discover different cultures and personalities whether it be from the comforts of my own or when I travel.
I'm a huge fan of food and music. I travel for food and music. They allow me to feel some sense of comfort in a new place while trying to find a better understanding of the people and culture around me.
I'd be happy to pass on any information of Kuala Lumpur city and these specific traits (especially the food!) onto anyone and everyone.
Aside from that, I'm pretty chilled out I think.
