We love our neighborhood, the houses surrounding us are beautiful and have lots of character, the people walking their dogs will stop and chat if you're in the mood, and in the summer months we spend the majority of time in our backyard grilling and gardening. It's like a little slice of paradise!

Jess and Doug were wonderful hosts. We arrived just as they were heading out, and they did not hesitate to put their plans on hold in order to help us settle in. The place was exactly the way it looked in the pictures. They left recommendations of where to eat and what to do in the area. They left us their number in case we had any questions during our exploration of Pitt. They really paid attention to all the little details from start to finish. The location was just right for visiting the stadiums! We had a great stay and would stay again if we found ourselves in the area.
The house is stunning! Very spacious, clean and beatiful to stay in. The neighbourhood is good to reach by car or public transport (roughly 15min). If you want to cook sth. little in the room, there is everything you need. Don't be shocked about the dog, he's just loud but not scary at all.
Thanks again for the pleasant stay Jessica
Jessica and Doug are excellent hosts. We loved the city and the private suite was a great home base. Jessica made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It is a beautiful home in an interesting neighbourhood. We couldn't have asked for a better airbnb experience.
My friends and I had an excellent stay with Jessica and Doug. They were both very friendly and accommodating. Great location (about 15min away from most things), safe area, short drive/walk to a nice trail on the river. The room is as pictured and was very comfortable. Highly recommend you stay here if in the Burgh.
The suite on the third floor was fantastic. It was very spacious and had all the amenities for a great stay. Thank you, Jessica and Doug!
We were very happy with our stay at the S.P. Bricker -- and even though it was sticky and hot in Pittsburgh that weekend, we were comfortable in Doug and Jessica's amazing third-floor space. I really enjoyed having a whole suite with extras like a kitchenette, TV (with Netflix) and couch, wifi, and pool table -- plus a record player for some nostalgic fun. The neighborhood itself is quiet with lots of big old houses and a little stretch of businesses a couple of blocks away where you can get coffee or a sandwich. We would definitely stay again the next time we're in Pittsburgh.
Jessica's place was absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and there's easy parking right beside the house. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to meet Jessica, but the check-in process was still easy and all her instructions were super clear! She was also readily available via text. The suite itself is spacious, gorgeous, and inviting. This was a terrific AirBnB experience. I highly recommend Jessica's place to anyone heading out to Pittsburgh!

I enjoy a good bargain, rock and roll, tea with milk, and going to work in my pajamas (in my house!). I'm a self proclaimed interior decorator, a Realtor, and the Mistress of the house! Most importantly, my mother taught me how to be a good hostess. Come stay with us!
