I highly recommend this place for a group vacation. It was great having bathrooms in every room so you didn't haveto share and the house and porch were large enough for eveyone to be able to hang out together.

Great place, their environmental commitment is very serious which is great but having green water pouring out of the kitchen's tube is not nice...even though we know we are not supposed to drink from there...the tanks in the exterior should be cleaned or the water filtered in a better way to avoid that image. Otherwise...the animals walking through the porch or the proximity to the beach is great. I would go again.

Absolutely amazing. Looks exactly as pictured. Cruz was extremely helpful, the daily cleaning fee is completely worth it, and the store across the street supplies every need. About a 2 minute walk to the beach along a private path, which has little to no tourists and a cute vendor along with kayaks you can rent for $5 to use in the adjacent river and ocean itself for 90 minutes. We loved the house; it has a ton of open space/porches so 12-16 people can fit very comfortably. Our only complaint is that we couldn't spend more time here!!

This place is amazing. It is right in front of the beach and the property has a dense forrest full of monkeys. Reloj de Arena has a great location too, it is close to restaurants and shops. Next time I go to Puerto Viejo, I'll be revisiting this place for sure.

This property is a bit rustic but really beautiful and secluded and private, a real jungle lodge with a really great and well stocked convenience store across the street ( be sure to go by between 7:30 and 8 am when she gets fresh bread delivered, the pita is the best you will find anywhere). There are also really good restaurants within walking distance. Bamboocha was one of our favorites. Sitting on the large outdoor deck with binoculars, we enjoyed seeing all sorts of wildlife (i.e. howler monkeys, sloths, giant iguanas, and a kinkajou)! There is also a really nice, large outdoor space to BBQ and sit outside to eat. It's a great space for a large group to spend time together, especially if you like rustic and natural beauty. About a mile from the property towards Puerto Viejo, is the Jaguar Rescue Center, not to be missed.
