I have stayed in many airbnb's in many different places, but this experience stands out as the best yet. Brandon was very understanding and helpful as our arrival time changed several times, still managing to arrange our taxi transfer to the Airbnb from the airport. Jamel at the Airbnb really impressed us with his hospitality. We felt very well cared for. He went out of his way to greet us, see us off, and even help with the rest of our stay in Morocco. Anytime we came back to the Airbnb Jamel was there to welcome us, and would offer us tea to relax after a long day. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Marrakech in the future, and will recommend this Airbnb to any of our friends who consider visiting.

This riad was amazing, not just for the beauty but because of the people working there as well. They were super helpful and made the place feel like home. The place is located next to a good route to use to get to the main square and the souks are near by for shopping if you planned on doing a lot of that like i did. On the last night i was there my flight ended up being canceled by my airline and Jamal at the riad helped me find a taxi all the way to Casablanca like 6 hours before i needed to be there. They helped me more then the airline (save yourself the trouble and do not book through royal air morocco). I can't say enough better things about this place! see you guys when i get back!

Dar Zelda was great! The room and bathroom were very large, the staff was so friendly, and the entire Riad was beautiful! It was really close to the Souks and walking distance from the square and we had no trouble finding it, even at night. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Ryad Dar Zelda. Our Host was very great to work with as were the Ryad management and staff. We felt very welcome and it was a terrific home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakesh.

What a lovely place!! Pre-stay communication was near instantaneous (Brandon - do u ever sleep?), and the stay was great as well! Jamaal, the Director, was super helpful with directions and tips for restaurants. Mohsin always served with a smile even though he was running up steep flights of stairs to the terrace. Michel, the co-host, was great to chat up with. Location's tough to find on your own and it would be great to have some signage around. Highly recommended!

Thanks, Girish, for your kind review. I'm afraid the Moroccan local authorities look badly on more signs in the Medina...visual pollution. And I agree! The Medina needs to remain the Medina

The place was in a great part of town. We booked last minute and it wasn't a problem. Staff was very nice. They let us stay in the room late on checkout day because we had a late flight. I can't wait to stay again!

The listing description was accurate and Brandon did a fantastic job arranging our arrival logistics. The Riad is challenging to find so for us arriving late, it was wonderful to be escorted to the property. The pool was fantastic and the staff was very attentive. The rooftop space is fantastic. It was too hot to enjoy during our stay and there is no wifi up there.

Grace and James were great guests. We have rebooted the Wi-Fi router up on the terrace!

Hello everybody! I was an exchange student to Britanny in France when I was 16, and never came back home to the states, having fallen in love. I spent 2 1/2 years at the American University in Paris, 1 year at l'Universite de Versailles, studied auctioneering at Sotheby's Paris, then graduated in French and political science at the College of Charleston in SC(USA). I worked in a famous French night club, Le Calao, for 9 years as manager, then bought and renovated this riad in Marrakech in 2001, one of the very first boutique hotels in the 'red city'. I adore Marrakech every day more, for its vibrance, colors, perfume, cuisine, and its amazing Bedouin hospitality. This magical, desert city has now stolen my heart. It will do the same for you!
