The Space

The apartment is located in the Cinecittà area, next to the famous movie’s studios. The apartment has been recently renovated, has new furnitures. It is cozy and clean. Very quiet during the night.
Is just 100 meters away from the metro stop Lucio Sestio. From my apartment you can reach downtown and all the most interesting places within 15 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There a lot of typical cheap restaurants and shops, grocery stores, internet point. At the back of the building there is the shopping street and a huge lovely park with acquedubct ruins.
The room you are looking at has a French size bed (suitable for two persons), ensuite bathroom and small balcony. In the house there are two other double rooms.
Price includes breakfast, linen, towels, daily cleaning room service, wi fi connection. I’m at the apartment every morning to prepare breakfast and give you tips for you itineraries or whatever questions you have.

  • Sara is very friendly and had made my first visit in Rome a memorable one. The place is an easy access and around the area are many local restaurants.

I loved the smell of cleanliness when you arrive at her place. It is surely a place where I will come back to stay next time when I visit Rome and strongly recommend the place as well.

  • The place and Sara are awesome. The room is great, very clean and with modern forniture. And Sara is very helpful and simpatetic. The place is very well located, very close to the metro and to a good restaurant.
    Aos brasileiros, indico a todos.

  • It was a great apartment - very clean and cosy and Sara is a very friendly and helpful host. Even though it is a little outside of town it was a great neighborhood with a lot of nice stores and good places to eat, so we had a very pleasant stay :)

  • We were very happy with our stay at Domus Sara. The place itself was excellent--spotlessly lean, cheerful, and nicely designed. Everything worked perfectly. We liked the location too, just a block from the subway, yet out of the touristy crush of the center of Rome. It was fun and interesting to see the "real" Rome as we wandered around that lively neighborhood. Best o all, though, was Sara herself, who is genuinely interesting, relaxed, and enormously helpful. Full recommendation!

  • Absolutely would recommend this place for comfort, good breakfast and neighborhood. Sara was responsive and quick to respond to my mails on airbnb app. Good host and kept the place clean DAILY. Apartment has elevator (Thank God!), it was what we needed after 17 days in Europe with fear of stairs. Breakfast was provided and it was a good spread. Sara was responsible enough to send her son Denise- whom we initially thought was one of us staying there to prepare breakfast for us when she can't make it that morning.

Distance from the apartment is a bit far from central. Takes 30 mins to Termini and whole journey from the apartment to Fiumicino is about 1.5 hours. But if you don't mind the distance, Sara would be a good option. Though, having said that.. it is cheaper to book directly to her than through airbnb. (Hope airbnb does not throw me out of the system after stating this)

  • We had a great stay in Rome. The room was very clean and the size was just right. Having wi-fi and our own shower was a plus. Sara answered our questions and helped us when we needed it. Being close to Metro was another benefit.

  • This was not really what we had expected. The room and en-suite were fine, but this is more of a mini hotel than staying in a persons house like most Air BNB places. We also found this place difficult to find from the directions on their listing, and the breakfast left us needing to go out for breakfast after. And the stairs!!!

  • Sara is amazing!

Her warm spirit and awesome apartment almost tricked me into staying in Rome longer than planned. The apartment is in a great location outside of the city center so you get a real local experience, but close enough to everything touristy that you would like to see. Sara has a continental breakfast ready every morning and she is really great to talk to. I can't wait to return to Rome for another stay here!
