Charming 1940's built Country Cottage situated on shared 1 acre parcel. Surrounded by 40 acres of protected farmland. Approx 800 square foot split level home was completely renovated with all new wiring, windows, heated tile flooring in the bathroom etc. Special care was taken to maintain the original charm of the home while updating with modern conveniences. Included is a fully furnished kitchen, breakfast nook/swanky bar, dishwasher, stove, & microwave. Shower and full size washer/dryer.

The space
Enjoy your privacy in this charming two story self contained home. The bedroom(s) are located upstairs. The master suite has a Hotel quality Queen size bed that you're sure to love. The second upstairs bedroom is an Alaskan Frontier themed room that contains an authentic pre-war twin bed. (Not suitable for restful sleep) The main floor consists of a full kitchen, living quarters and bathroom, which contains a full laundry room free of charge. A Keurig coffee maker and complimentary coffee are included with your stay. All utensils, cutlery and cookware are provided.

The Country Cottage is surrounded by 40 acres of protected Skagit Valley farmland. Watch the annual migration of over 50,000 Snow Geese (Usually between November and Spring) right out your front window while sipping tea or hot cocoa!

Nearby attractions include wineries, five local breweries, endless antique shops, and the world renowned Skagit Valley Tulip fields are less than fifteen minutes away. Historic downtown LaConner is the heart of the Tulip festival and it is only a 20 minute country drive with plenty of sight seeing and roadside attractions along the way to enjoy. Historic Downtown Mount Vernon is a literal three minute drive if you'd like to walk along the street fair, get yourself some freshly made kettle corn and do some antiquing.

The Country Cottage is located within 25 minutes (or less) of four Tribal gaming casinos which offer several restaurant choices, gambling, nightclubs, live music, comedy acts, etc. Additionally, the nearby Premium Outlet Shopping Mall offers over 130 designer stores for the shopping enthusiast. The Country Cottage is located one hour south of the Canadian Border and only one hour within downtown Seattle, thus it is centrally located near virtually every desired attraction of the Pacific Northwest.
