We had the ideal first airbnb experience staying at Tim's apartment. The apartment and the included parking space made our stay in Madison so convenient because it was close enough to campus and all that the Capitol loop has to offer. We are looking forward to booking with Tim again the next time we visit!
The host was very helpful and the listing was accurate. He was quick to respond, and the apartment itself was very comfortable. Something we really appreciated was how warm it was because Madison was extremely cold when we got there. There is a lot of space to chill out and I was able to do yoga, make tea, and just relax.
Tim was helpful and explained the apartment, the accommodations, and the neighborhood. It's an amazing location, close to the capitol and the lake.
The apartment had all the amenities that one would need and Tim was easily reachable by phone. Location wise, the apartment is right next to the lake and had a great view of the capitol. It is walking distance to Capitol Square, the farmers market, State St. and the UW campus. Street parking can be hard to find sometimes, so please give Tim a heads up if you're bringing a vehicle. There's a parking spot reserved at the apartment lot. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
I absolutely loved staying at Tim's place. Definitely one of my favorite neighborhoods in Madison. He was a great host and so helpful. The place was clean and cozy, and the balcony was my favorite part. When I visit again I would definitely like to stay here again.
Tim's place is excellent in every way and the perfect option for a single traveller or couple, or even a group of up to three friends. Nice view of the lake and capitol building, well-equipped though I didn't have much time during the week I was there to take much advantage of the fact, and he was even nice enough to lend me a bicycle to move around picturesque Madison on!
Tim is really a nice host. He took us to the lake in his private sail boat and offered us a ride! His place is clean ,cozy ,and full of artistic breath. And has a fantastic view of the sunset on the lake!

Originally from Wisconsin and have lived/worked in Alaska, Japan & Mexico. Lucky to have learned many wonderful things like tea ceremony, windsurfing and yoga. After many trips to India to learn with old yoga masters, I now enjoy sharing yoga with anyone who is interested. In Alaska I worked as a fisher, painter, tour guide mostly in the summer months. Graduated with BA in Geography from UW Madison, but mainly use it to travel. Mexico, Cuba and Guatemala have been my wintering grounds for some years. I seem to learn more from situations and people I meet. Life is too mysterious so why take it so serious! I often am laughing at myself for the things I do and think.........
