I LOVED MY STAY at Mary's home, simply AWESOME!. Mary was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. I also had the joy to meet her son and his friends. The room is very big, well decorated, the JACUZZI was great as well. The room leads to a small outdoor space where you can relax. I'm really looking forward to go back with my family. Your room is abot 2 minutes walk to the resort's main reception ( 5 Star Reception, beautiful) , where you can have good internet access and great restaurants. Only 1 minute walk to the gym and swimming pool, you also have 24 hours shuttle available in the resort, everything was BEAUTIFLLLLL! Thank you so much Mary for your time and constant update, you are a TOP HOST!!!. Love YA!
She provided me all the info I needed before coming to the resort, responded very fast to all my messages. Mary even asked if she could tour me round and go to Disney. A Great Host
Finally the return ticket by shuttle from the airport to the resort only costs me less than $40 with (website hidden).
It was a very nice area with a very good room. Everything went fine and I enjoyed the time there. There are a couple of things that Mary can improve in order to be the prefect place to stay at such as: a small fridge,a microwave and also to have a map of the resort and what's around because the GPS doesn't work in that area and you might have difficulties coming back to the resort. Other than that everything was good. I didn't meet Mary in person but her responses were quick and very welcoming. Thank you for hosting me. Hope to see you again
The room we stayed in at Mary's home is very nice. it is only a few miles to the attractions around Orlando. Although we never met Mary she returned all of our calls and texts. It was a great stay and I would stay here again if I return to the area.
We booked last minute for this room so the communication was not as his best. Mary accepted our reservation without telling us the code to get into the villa so we had to wait for almost 1 hour and half outside...
Otherwise, the room was perfect, very clean and nice. The resort is beautiful but far from the parks.
I have three main complaints about this BnB.
First, the ad said breakfast was included, but that was not the case. It is true there is breakfast at the clubhouse nearby, but for a fee. Having the ability to buy breakfast at a nearby restaurant is not what is typically meant by "Breakfast Included".
Second, the WiFi is basically nonexistent in the unit. The WiFi mentioned in the ad is free community WiFi. If you walk about 20 feet from the unit you can get on the network but it is slow. You will NOT like the internet here. Oddly the owner has her own private internet connection with a WiFi router but chooses not to share that connection with her guests.
Third, the unit didn't even have a cup for using at the sink. By chance we happened to have a souvenir cup with us, but if we didn't how did Mary expect us to drink? I do not understand why Mary does not choose to spend $5 to have a cup available for guest use in the bathroom.
As nice as the room was, Mary wasn't nice to deal with at all. First we arrived and there was no wifi. Understandable for the 1st day cause it did rain a little , but we stayed 4 days and didn't get it the whole time. The weather was fine and We could tell there was wifi reception because we could see other people's appearing. Every time we asked about her fixing the problem she snapped at us. I know we are holidaying but me and my partner both needed this for our business and if we knew there would be no wifi access for that long we wouldn't of stayed just not acceptable to be treated so rudely when your simply asking for something you paid for. Also the toilet in our room didn't work , neither did the Powerpoint next to my bed. We weren't given a key or allowed to have the key inside at night and felt un safe as there could of been a possibility of someone coming into the house. On our last night we popped out for a walk and she had returned home and locked us out . We called and she screened our call. we rang the bell she didn't answer , 50 minutes after banging on the door she came down , very rude especially after her saying its such a safe place "you don't need locks"!!!!! Then lastly it stated we would have complimentary bottles of water awaiting us , but when we got there , there was none. So we borrowed 2 glasses from the kitchen to drink water out of so we wouldn't be drinking from the tap, she charged us $15 dollars out of a deposit, even though the glasses were not damaged and were clean. When we asked her about the complimentary bottles ,she once again snapped at us and said we weren't entitled to it cause of the time of year and the rates . None of this was stated on air bnb . 15 dollars just for using glasses is ridiculous and petty. You don't have to get a cleaner out for this. Found her very unprofessional to deal with and will certainly not recommend her to anyone. Also if you don't have a car it's very expensive to get everywhere . All theme parks are at least 35 minutes away. Do not waste your time!
