Enjoy a piece of history, this stone house was built in the 1930's. One of three that were part of Rimrock Ranch Bar Lazy-R, a "dude ranch" where VIPs and movie stars would stay as they were filming westerns in the Sedona area or relaxing. In the 60’s it was Mobster getaway hiding spot. The stone house sits elevated on a hillside with overlooking panoramic views of forestry land, local homes & farms, with scenic pinions.

The space
The spectacular views, sunsets, stargazing, and peaceful sounds are guaranteed to make you detach, relax and enjoy life.

With COVID concerns. You will find this space perfect as you are on 3 acres that also connects to another 7 acres. Secluded but still close to all of the activities and adventure in the area.

Part of our cleaning process includes the use of a commercial grade ozone machine to clean the air and surfaces.

Horse stalls are available for lease during your stay if you enjoy traveling with your horse(s), inquire for further details.

Dogs are allowed, please inquire for further details and pet fee.

Internet was recently added to the ranch when solar came on board. Just this December new lines were run to address some connection issues. I’ve also added an additional router in the main room (old stone walls) that extends the range. I also have available a 50 foot ethernet line if you prefer to directly connect your laptop to the Internet versus using Wi-Fi.

This hilltop stone cabin is perfect to get away and relax, decompress or just enjoy nature. The cabin sits on a few acres with natures friends visiting such as deer, javelinas, and coyotes just to name a few. The hilltop is a private drive so there is virtually no traffic. The land has horse stalls, corral and pasture. You will be driving on a dirt road for 1/2 mile to get to the cottage.

I am transitioning to farm life, as I develop my 2.7 and 6.8 acre neighboring ranches for horses, goats, chickens, rabbits and bees. Looking turn the historic towns name sakes ranch into an organic aquaponics and traditional farm for a local popular Italian restaurant. Watch as the property evolves and comes alive as I bring the history of the dude ranch for stars and VIPs from the 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s, and hiding spot in the 60’s for the Mafia to sustainable growing.
