We had a bit of a miscommunication on my arrival time, but Kimberly was very friendly and even showed me some of her designs! (She's really talented). She also offered me a towel and some of the food she just cooked. Very very friendly.
The location couldn't be better - as you are steps away from the train - literally! It got a bit noisy at night (of course she can't control that!) and the apartment could have been a bit cleaner.
Also, she has a cat, but I'm unsure if that was in the listing - just in case anyone has allergies.
It was a comfy friendly place to go for a night's stay and met my price and location needs.
Kimberly was very nice and accommodating. Stayed there whilee rushing to find apartments so I was in and out and she was very understanding of that. She told me to continue my nap when we were supposed to be talking business at that time, I was exhausted and that was just very sweet of her! I definitely recommend staying here. It's a very nice place, loved the entrance, and more so the adorable warm interior design inside her apartment. On top of that, you hear Harlems heart beat right outside of her bedroom windows, this is a real gem!
Kimberly was awesome! She was wicked accommodating. Very knowledgeable. She even invited me to hang out with her and her friends. Room is as described. Pretty safe neighborhood. Definitely recommend.
Kimberly is a great host. Laid back and is a great judge of character from the other people I had met staying there. Very understanding and reasonable.
This was a great stay. A secure building and apartment. Kim is a great host! The apartment was in a convenient location to connect to the subway.
Kimberly was an excellent host. She was friendly and thoughtful (e.g. when the temperature got abruptly chilly, she offered me a small space heater for my room. Glad she did!) The space -- both my room and the common areas -- was clean and comfortable. I would gladly stay here again. Very convenient to the 145th st subway!
I enjoyed my stay at Kimberly's so much that I happily booked an additional week when my business trip was extended. Thanks, Kimberly!
