We loved the location and staying in an 800 year old building. The ambiance of this alley street could not have been more perfect. Also parking is free on any street that does not have a sign saying no parking. We found places on Pireos or also spelled Peiraos which is follows the wall.

Not only would I HIGHLY recommend making the Old Town of Chania part of your itinerary, but staying with Chryssoula was so lovely. This home has been in their family for 800 years, so please know that it is not "modern" or "luxurious" - but it is so memorable. The quaint little alley that the home is located in is close to everything you will want. Be sure to eat at Ellotia Restaurant, which is literally outside the front door. You are within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, markets, and plenty of vehicle rentals. Your stay in Chania should not be finished without a trip to Balos Lagoon. It is an amazing experience. You should know, however, that it is off the beaten path, and includes a tough 2.5 klm hike to and from. Thank you again, Chryssoula!

We had a wonderful time. Very centrally located. The room actually is located in the historic Venetian Harbor and there are many things going on all day and night, but because of the location, the room was quite and offered a great space to relax after a day of sightseeing. Host was friendly and offered some great suggestions for things to do during our trip. Very clean and usable space.

A lovely and unique place you have to stay in. The place has so much amazing history and is in the best location. The host is great and took a large time explaining all the cool history and things to do and places to eat. We would absolutely love to stay here again and can't wait to come back!

This place is perfectly located and I mean perfect!! The owner is hugely knowledgeable and will show you where to eat/drink outside of the touristy areas if you so wish, or will recommend sights to see and places to go. Throughly enjoyed our stay and very much look forward to coming back in the future
