Digital Nomads and remote workers will feel at the right place - with a reliable WIFI and solid workspace, in a space with tons of natural light pouring in through big glass doors, and a kitchen that's ready for your culinary adventures.

READ : Please note that the entrance to the apartment is from the BACK of the building. The way buildings are narrowly organized can make you feel uncomfortable at first but it is completely safe and have enough lighting at night.

Please note that due to COVID, we do not function as we used to. We provide linens and towels, but do not offer daily housekeeping.

The renovation of the old shophouse has been a collaboration between Ananda’s and Garden of Desire. Our approach to space has been led by simplicity in the architecture and design, yet providing physical and emotional comfort, visual beauty, and attention in thoughtful small details that will make you feel closer to a place like home.

1rst floor is Garden of Desire – Silversmith & local jewelry designer focusing on simplicity and uniqueness.

2nd floor is the MAYA ensuite available for guests

3rd floor is the AKASH ensuite and it’s urban garden.

Ananda, from it’s Sanskrit origins, can be closely translated to Bliss. We humbly try oue best to translate that experience to you whenever you come visit.

The studio is located on the second floor above Garden of Desire shop, accessible via stairs (no elevator), and has air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. The room opens up onto a private balcony, furnished with seatings giving a view on the Kandal Village main street. The closet has hangers and shelves. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and a shower, separated with a glassdoor. Soap is provided. All linens and towels are provided, and changed every 7 days for longer term guests. The kitchenette has a fridge, sink, dish drain; basic cutlery and dishes for two, a coffee press and an electric kettle. The bed is king size (180 x 200 cm).

An iron and ironing board are available on request. Super fast wifi is accessible all around the property. Laundry service is available for an extra charge. The living space has a comfortable couch, armchair, and coffee table set. A 40’’ TV (with cable access) is in front of the bed. Two set of curtains: one made of linen stopping eyesight but not lighting and another one fully opacifying.

Other things to note
- If keys happened to be lost or taken away with, I’d have to change the entrance key lock, as burglaries often happen in Cambodia. In that case there would be a charge of $30USD to cover the cost of a new key lock and sets of keys. Therefore I please ask you to be extra-careful with them.

- FYI : Some services might be restricted on certain public holidays (Water festival early November, Khmer new year...)

- Cambodia is a developing country. Sometimes, district power cuts or water shortage happen. We have no control over that. They usually don't last so long. Kindly bear with us the possible incomfort
