About this listing
Beautiful, fully-renovated traditional Buenos Aires house in the heart of Palermo Soho, the city's best neighborhood for dining, shopping and just walking around in a low-rise, bohemian, relaxed environment.
This five-bedroom house with a patio and terrace in the heart of Palermo Soho should be a great way to experience Buenos Aires in a truly authentic way. The turn-of-the-century house features a romantic, traditional design, with soaring 14-foot ceilings, large rooms and a quiet, relaxed ambience. It can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. I have fully renovated the place, including bathrooms and kitchen recently, and offer five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a quiet open-air inner courtyard, A/C in every room, dining room, full kitchen, and a private rooftop terrace. The house is fully equipped for renters— full kitchen, dining room table for 6 or 8, LCD TV with DVD, and plenty of space for entertaining.Located right in the heart of Palermo SoHo (Gorriti and Uriarte), you will have immediate access to the trendiest neighborhood in the city. The neighborhood is renowned for its restaurant and boutique scene. It has sidewalk cafes on practically every street and the nightlife is great. While the house is only a few blocks away from the cultural center of Palermo Soho (Plaza Serrano), it is placed away from the din of Plaza Serrano, sheltered from the noise of the bars and restaurants.
The house will allow up to ten people to live comfortably, with plenty of space to relax. All bedrooms have queen size double beds that can be pulled apart and turned into single beds.
I have lived in the house many years. It is not common to find the combination of style, comfort and location it has. The neighborhood is really enjoyable. You can walk to the bars and restaurants, so no need to take a cab each time you are out of the house. Most of the city's interesting spots are close by and you can reach them by bus, cab or subway which is about 10 blocks from the house.
It is a fun place to relax, invite friends and spend a vacation in Buenos Aires enjoying the city but also having a great time when you return back home.
I live close by and try to be available to help you out with any need. I speak English and French as a native, apart from Spanish of course.
I can help you arrange daily trips to Estancias, to Tigre, to Colonia or help you plan your stay in BA. I also stack a selection of boutique, high-quality wines in the house, which you can enjoy. The selection is made by a sommeliers who is also available for wine tastings if you are interested.
I hope to hear from you. Best!

Interaction with Guests
I interact with my guests as much as they need. I live close by and I am happy to maintain close communications in case of need.
The neighborhood is fantastic. Bohemian, artsy, low-rise and leafy. Close to partks, museums. Easy to get in and out of and super lively.
There are a multitude of buses, taxis, subways and the fast-lane bus service called MetroBus. All within walking distance.
Hi there! The basic rules are that smoking is only permitted in the patio and terrace. Not inside the house. I want my guests to feel at home in the house but I expect them not to abuse it in any way, such as having parties or bringing people into the house who are not my guests. That doesn´t mean that my guests can´t have a friend or two come in to socialize one day. But not numerous people, which the house is not prepared to handle and will raise the noise level, which can disturb my neighbors. I would like my guests to realize there is a clear difference between booking my house and staying at a hotel. I will treat you like a friend and do my best so that you have a great time and expect you to treat the house as if it was yours. The maximum number of guests is 10. I am flexible with check in and check out hours provided that I do not have same-day check in and check outs. In that case, I need to have guests leave the house by 10 a.m. and check in at 3 p.m. to allow me enough time to have the house cleaned. In any case, a late checkout runs until 3 pm free of charge. After that, I will charge $30 extra. I will provide options to guests who need to store luggages once checked out.
Hi, I am Daniel. I have worked many years as a journalist and for the past three years was a communications manager at Gooogle Argentina. I had this house for about 15 years and recently decided to renovate it and put it on the market as a guest house for people coming from overseas. Palermo Soho is absolutely Buenos Aires´coolest neighborhood. It is a wonderful place to have a unique experience, as you´ll be walking-distance from fantastic restaurants, bars, cafes, night clubs, shopping areas and parks. The neighborhood is low-rise and leafy and has a very relaxed feel to it.
I am very excited about managing this guest house. So far all my guests have seemed to enjoy it greatly. I live close by and am always available to help if needed.
On a personal note, I am an Argentine who has lived in New York City for many years as a student and in Paris as a kid, when my father was relocated there for work. I enjoy the opportunity of meeting people from around the world and help them discover the best-kept secrets of this great city.
Lastly, let me just say the house is super comfortable, rooms are about 250 square feet, and you have a patio and a terrace to spend time outside. It combines all the elements of modern comfort with the style of a house built in the early 1900´s. I´ll be happy to be your host if you decide to stay here.
