Think of it as a private, luxury hostel; one big happy family, although I am rarely home. Seperate beds but in same one-room studio flat. You have your own keys and you do as you please. :)
We can share a glass of wine or an authentic espresso made with my awesome new espresso machine, or you can completely do your own thing. I am your host if you want/need, although again, I am normally not home from 7am to 7pm during the weekdays.
I have lived in Toronto for twenty years (and one month!) and am happy to answer questions, give advice or directions, and recommend restaurants or must-see parts of the city.
Send me a message if you have any questions. :)
Christina is a total sweetheart! Her apartment is clean and very conveniently located; easy to find even for someone who's never driven in Toronto. The subway is almost right outside; I didn't use my car the entire time I was there!
I was thankful to have met such a cool lady and shared her neat space with her for a few days. Absolutely recommend this place without qualification.
Christina is an amazing host and her personality really shines through her lovely apartment. I only stayed for a brief time but found the apartment to be really cosy and welcoming. Really close to the subway and walking distance to many great local amenities and dining options. Thanks Christina!
Very experienced host and the weekend went without a hitch. Highly recommended. My only regret was that i was busy enough to not have a chance to get to get to know Christina!
Had a wonderful 4 days with Christina! She was very welcoming and as my first time at a place through airbnb she really explained everything well and was very helpful. Communication was prompt and made herself available to be contacted offline as well. If you are looking for a bed to rest on that is centrally located with easy access to transportation and in a quiet area I would recommend her place to you.
This is the first time I've stayed in a shared room accommodation and it was very comfortable. SInce I was coming from the west I stayed up later than Christina and she said it would not disturb her. She got up at the crack of dawn and must have been super quiet since although I am a light sleeper I hardly heard a thing. The couch makes a futon bed and it was pretty comfortable (I have futon myself so am used to it too). The apartment is clean and accommodating and it was great talking to Christina in French and English. I drove and it was nice to have an indoor parking space although it is quite a gantlet of doors to get to the elevator! Great view over the city!
It was such a wonderful experience staying in Christina's place. I only stayed for two days and it was my first airbnb experience, but everything was perfect. The room is clean, stylized, organized and Christina's so kind to me. She even invited me out for a drink with her and her friends and the bartender amazed us with his magic. I highly recommend her place for staying but I also want everybody who stay in her house to behave nice because I want to stay again. Lol. Enjoy your trip and have a wonderful Christmas!
Merci Christina pour ton accueil! Tu es une chouette personne :)
Well, Christina went far beyond my expectations, the place is clean and well located. As for Christina, what else to say if she is one of the best host I ve ever had (she even brought me to the airport). I had an amazing experience with her ;) but more than that, I ve won an incredible and hilarious friend.
Christina was very flexible about the check-in time. When I arrived she provided me with a hand-made booklet that basically answered all questions concerning my stay like: laundry, using the internet.
She also provided me with a towel and of course fresh bedsheets.
She has a great coffee maker and lets you use any part of the kitchen for cooking or simply using the fridge.
The shower was decent and she even provides soap and shampoo if you forgot to bring your own. Everything you'd
expect from a hotel including a hair dryer.
I regret that I never got around to using the pool, but there's one in the building.
Just down the street you'll find plenty of coffee places, mini grocery stores and very easy access to public
transportation that'll get you downtown or uptown in 20 minutes.
The room was quiet and Christina is an excellent host. My only minor complaint would be a preference for
a little more separation in the room for a sense of privacy. But beyond that, her place is very well kept,
cool in fact with the mini library and dvd collection. If you are looking for a room share in Toronto, you can't
go wrong at this price and location.
clean and well located apartment
