This was my first time using airbnb and I am not disappointed! We (my sister and I) chose this accommodation based on location - she is two blocks from where my daughter lives. Virginie confirmed our request very quickly and provided lots of information and communication.
When we arrived, she was there to help us bring our luggage inside. We did not need help with the city since we had our own tour guide (my daughter!) but Virginie was more than willing to provide information on the bus and metro, as well as shopping. The apartment was well appointed with all the dishes and cookware needed, although we did not cook anything other than toast! The two beds were comfortable and the large hot water heater ensured nice showers!
A fresh baguette was left for us on our second morning - a nice treat. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and may even stay there again!
Thank you, Virginie, for making our stay in Montreal both economical, convenient, and very pleasant!

Virginie's apartment was absolutely perfect! Clean, well-appointed, and a considerable size. The area was great as well! I didn't get the pleasure of meeting Virginie while I was in Canada, but she did a good job of keeping in contact via email to make sure everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend her place for anyone looking to stay in Montreal on a tight budget.
Virginie was a great host. She had printed a list of stores and restaurants in the neighbourhood for us, and had stocked the kitchen with staples (e.g. coffee, water, juice, condiments) and even some eggs. We ate most of our meals out but the kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to eat in more. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well appointed. You may hear some birds and trucks in the morning if you have the windows open, which you only really notice because the neighbourhood is so quiet otherwise! A short walk to the Metro, and a longer walk or a short Metro ride to the Marche Jean Talon. We had a great visit and would stay here again. Merci!
We spend 4 wonderful days in Montreal in the cozy apartment from Virginie. It is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are nice and tidy and everything you need is there. And if not, you can just ask and it will be provided. We really enjoyed being here! And Virginie is really a wonderful host, helpful, polite, friendly and welcoming. So just go there.
The area is also very nice and the metro to go to downtown is just the next block away and for your daily needs everything is around 10 min walking distance. Thanks again to Virginie - we would always come back!
