Really cozy ancient suite with frescoed ceiling. This 30 sm suite is located in a renovated first floor apartment in a classy building from the early 1900. The awesome mosaic floor characterizes the whole apartment, but the frescoed ceiling is a really special feature of this precious suite. The room is equipped with high speed wi fi lan and a confortable corner where you can relax and refresh (kettle and coffee machine are included). There is a king size bed (2 xl twin beds) and a big glass table. The suite comes with a private bathroom and a private terrace where you can drink, read or just relax. The suite could include a private car park (+ 20 euro per 24 hours, payment after you check in; to be requested in advance).
Best choice for a really relaxing experience, ideal for couples, families with babies, business travellers.
Location - The suite is right in the historic centre and really close ( 30 seconds by walk) to Giardini Margherita, the biggest park of the city.
NEW / Exclusive homemade restaurant service / Real Cucina Italiana on demand.
Words cannot capture how amazing this place is--I only wish we could have stayed longer! The location is easy to get to and a very quick walk from the center of town. The street is gorgeous in the bolognese style, and the suite/apartment itself is very special--spacious, high ceilings, spotlessly clean. It is essentially an independent apartment. We adored it, and plan to return as soon as we can back to Bologna! The welcome was warm, and every detail was well thought out in advance. There were maps, restaurant recommendations, etc., and Carlo's parents were happy to give us more information while also leaving us to be independent. The room is enormous--the size of an apartment--and feels very luxurious. Even the terrasse was great, even in January. If ever there is an ideal place to stay in Bologna, this is it!
This place is even more lovely than the photos can share. Carlo was very responsive and his father was very welcoming upon arrival. Absolutely recommend this place and plan to stay again!
It was very nice. The room was very comfortable and stylish. We didn’t meet Carlo, but his parents are very charming. The information about the restaurants and cafes were very helpful. We felt like being at home. The Location is quiet and near the city center. You can walk to every place tourist should see. Near the house is a very nice park, where you can rest or do sport. Bologna is beautiful and we look forward to stay there again to another time. Thanks for the support (umbrella, bedcover, Shuttleservice to the airport...).
Thank you Carlo. The apartment was quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. Lilia and Sergio were very helpful and pleasant, giving us information on good eating places and attractions, helping with bags and taxi. The apartment is in a good location, close to a park and walking distance to the city.
Very nice place to stay, in the center of Bologna.
Big, clean, very well situated, nice hosts. The small private terrace is a real plus!
We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The room was even bigger than we expected, very quiet, and the host is very gracious and helpful. The location is conveniently near a bus stop for one of the major local bus routes. There is a nice cafe right across the street, and it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the heart of the historic district.
Big comfortable room with a terrace in a beautiful palazzo of Bologna's nicest neighborhood. Close to Piazza Maggiore, surrounded by delicious restaurants and the best gelato place! Very nice park at the end of the street too :)
Thank you for a fantastic stay at Fresco Suite in Bologna.
The bed comfortable and king size. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of light.
Our host Sergio was outstanding and came to our aid with car hire, places to go and see, restaurants and a trip to the airport.
The fresco suite is extremely beautiful (even better than in the picture) and perfectly located in the center of the old town. Carlo was out of town but we met his father. He was very kind and helpful. I would definitely book it again and I highly recommend it to everyone travelling to Bologna. Check out the cafe across the street.
The painted ceiling is remarkable, king size room and bed. Our hosts were very discreet and charming. We spent the last evening with them, eating home-made fresh pasta and discussing Italy's predicaments with our hosts. A rare opportunity when you're a visitor in a foreign city.
