Everything was exactly as discribed. Samira was very kind and helpful. Location: couldn't be better, Subway-station and interesting places concerning. So central. Surely, the bus terminal at the opposite side isn't very beautiful, but it was OK. Two minutes to the Subway-station and the next Duane Reade, Times Sqare begins behind the next corner. If you don't like noise, you have to go to a Carebian island or in the Rocky Mountains. Not to Manhattan, and not here. Yes, it was a little bit loud, but surely normal for this great city.
The apt. was very clean, ideal for two persons.
We are sure to come back to New York, and we are sure to contact Samira again.
She lives next door to this room and it's no prombem to contact her.
Samira was very helpful and welcoming in spite of a severe cold. We very much enjoyed our stay in Samira's apartment. it was beautifully designed and well equipped. The only downside and nothing to do with Samira was the elevator which was extremely slow. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this Airbnb venue to anyone visiting New York and indeed I have just told 2 guests staying at my place who are contemplating a trip to NY about the accomodation.
Samira was a wonderful host. She was gracious enough to allow us to leave our luggage a little early. The room was clean and well kept. The location was perfect. Close to everything, but on a quieter street.
We had a fantastic 7 nights stay in Samiras cozy studio. The studio was just as described on the website and we had the feeling that we had our own home base in NYC, every time we came back to the studio. The location is perfect. Close to a myriad of restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen, easy access to bus and subway – and a very short walking distance to the busy life of NYC. We only had a 10 min walk to Times Square, Bryant Park etc. Our host Samira was absolutely outstanding. She always had a smile on her face and did everything to make sure we had a nice stay. She was easy to get in touch with and she responded fast. As described in other reviews of this studio, there was some noise from the construction site next door, but it was no problem for us, as we woke up early anyway… We know we’ll return to NYC and we are pretty sure we will stay at Samiras wonderful place again.
Samiras place is exactly as described and leaves no disappointment! She's very friendly and helped us out when needed. The room is perfect for two people and is located just a few steps from Times Square. Highly recommended if you visit New York and want to be close to basically everything! Bus station right outside and the subway is just around the corner! We will definitely come back next time!
The studio is absolutely exquisite - looks just like the pictures and feels immediately like home! My friend and I were in NYC for five days, and we were so thankful to stay at such a beautiful place.
The ongoing construction next to the building was the only downside to our stay (waking up to the noise at 7 am is never pleasant), but Samira warned us beforehand and offered earphones. She also kindly accommodated my request for an extra blanket, and let us drop off our bags before check-in. Overall, Samira was an extremely responsive host and clearly cares a lot about her guests!
