Secluded in the Georgia pines, our cabin is 2.5 hours south of Atlanta GA and gives inspiration and new meaning to the word "cabin getaway." Hark back to the basics and discover the southern charm and hidden treasures that decorate this rustic cabin. Rural yet contemporary, the cabin interior soothes the soul, yet awakens your creative side. The fire pit sets the perfect mood for evening romance or just enjoying a hot dog or marshmallow roast.

The space
We provide coffee as well as a selection of herbal tea. The shampoo and conditioner in the shower are luxury products. For the bathroom, we provide body wash, lotion, make up remover pads and blow dryer. The washer and dryer is there for your convenience. We provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets as well as dish soap. We try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is also an outdoor fire pit that you have access to use and we supply the logs. There is a TV and internet service. We provide a grill for your outdoor culinary skills. The wrap around porch is great for morning coffee or evening wildlife watching with cocktail in hand. This is the perfect getaway for the city dweller to experience relaxation, clear your cluttered mind and recharge you batteries. If you are interested in learning something about natural horsemanship, dog training or creative arts, your host Mike and Barb are specialists in these areas. We'd be happy to show you a little something about our craft.

Our neighborhood is filled with wildlife like humming birds, fox squirrels, deer and turkey. Our other neighbors have dogs and live on large acres of land.

Mike and I love Americus, Georgia because of the wildlife, peace and tranquility as well as being able to recharge our batteries from the hustle and bustle of city life in Miami. We have travelled a lot and find this area to be the most amazing location. There is so much to see and do and is rich in civil war history. As an artist and my husband Mike retired Miami fire rescue, we offer much because we both train animals. I work with horses using natural horsemanship techniques and teaching the horse tricks. Mike trains dogs using NE PO PO, which is all about the dog finding his advantage. We are happy to talk or show a little something of our craft when we are there. If you have a horse, feel free to bring him, as we are set up for horses. There would be an extra fee of $12.00 per day, feed included.
