The space
This delightful 3-bedroom, 2-bath farmhouse offers both comfort and convenience, with easy access to all that Nelson County has to offer. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service and recognized as a Virginia Treasure, the home has been thoughtfully updated to provide modern amenities while preserving its historic charm, including lower ceilings and cozy spaces.

The first-floor master bedroom features a queen bed and a TV for your comfort. Upstairs, you'll find two guest bedrooms, with ample closet space. One guest room includes a queen bed, while the second is furnished with two twin beds, a DVD player, and a PS2. Both bathrooms are conveniently located on the first floor.
Wifi is provided for our guests.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, and the adjacent dining room offers a welcoming space to gather. The living room is comfortably furnished and designed for relaxation, accommodating up to six guests.

Outside, enjoy the fresh mountain air from one of two porches or unwind in the backyard by the fire pit, where you can take in stunning views of the Three Ridges and the Priest Mountains.

Guest access
You are welcome to the farmhouse and the surrounding 1.8 acres. There is a swing, hammock and fire pit with fire wood. A Weber gas grill is also available on the side porch.

Other things to note
Nelson County does not have trash service so you MUST take your trash to the dump, conveniently located on Rt. 151, to avoid issues with bears.

Hi! We’re Jason and Wendy who love the mountains and have been visiting Nelson County for many years. In 2013, while planning a birthday wine weekend, Jason found this historic farmhouse for sale—and bought it! Hosting lets us keep it in our lives and share it with others. We're not in it for profit—just happy to offer a peaceful, special place we love. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
