Adrian was a fabulous host. He looked after us above and beyond expectations. The meal he made was lovely. We had a very peaceful enjoyable time at the Chateau. Beautiful country spot
At the foot of the Pyrenees in southwest France, I found this amazing Chateau with the most lovely people.
For five days I had the pleasure of experiencing the beautiful landscape, tranquility and warmth of these lovely hosts.
Adrian and Bridget did everything to make me feel good and shared their knowledge of the area. It made it so much easier for me to explore this stunning area.
Memories of the long evenings on the terrace with good wine, great food and the most amazing view from this high point in Labets-Biscay, will stick to me forever.
I can recommend this to everyone...
This hidden place blew us away. It is absolutely gorgeous and in beautiful Basque countryside. Settings as well as the interior are nothing short of spectacular. The terrace and our upstairs bedroom afford a stunning panorama of the Pyrénées. We had the large bedroom [featured on the website], tastefully decorated, clean and incredibly comfortable. Adrian is a magnificent host and went out of his way to make us feel at home. He is not only a brilliant chef but also most knowledgeable about the whole area. All his suggestions what we should explore unfolded as little gems – places one wouldn’t find as a foreigner. We’ll treasure our memorable stay forever and wish we could have stayed longer. It’s a place to write a book and paint!

Divine surprise! In the most unspoilt environment, on a little promontory surrounded by breathtaking views on the Pyrénées, the green slopes, the sheep, horses and cows in the morning mist, there stands Sleeping Beauty Castle. The Prince and his Princess who have brought it back to life are young and beautiful and incredibly nice and welcoming. They also cook delightful local food and make you feel like you are old friends. The kind of secret place you'd like to keep to yourself.
