To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
A photo ID will need to be presented, which will be photographed.
All our apartments are non-smoking apartments. For smoking please step outside and make sure you don't leave cigarette butts behind.
No pets or animals are accepted.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.
Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
Linen is supplied. Bath towels are not to be used for beach.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
We have endeavoured to provide quality service to all our visitors and have provided you with a clean and tidy apartment and we ask that you follow some simple guidelines.
Before you vacate, we ask that you ensure the following has been done:
* Please wash any dirty dishes with the dishwashing facilities provided.
* Wipe the table, bench/stove tops of food spills to avoid staining and insects.
* Please leave oven, cooktop and microwave in a clean condition.
* Please remove any left over food from fridge and put into bins provided.
* Please empty any rubbish bins.
There is a standard cleaning charge at a nominal rate included in the price for your accommodation. However, should there be any extra cleaning required upon your departure; the cost for this cleaning is $50.00 per hour which will be invoiced to you, the guest.
Note: Variances can be agreed on, but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
Great experience with the apartment and Living Like Locals - have stayed with my wife and infant for three month (April-July)and everything has been very smooth and easy going - apartment located in a perfect spot close to the amazing st kilda beachwalk and close proximity to a wide variety of good restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Also very easy to connect to the tram system to take you to CBD. Melbourne is lovely and this apartment is perfectly located to exploit all the good things the city has to offer while at the same time not being exposed to any heavy traffic nor noise. The apartment is very clean and has anything you need (e.g. full equipped kitchen, TV, comfortable beds). Only downside is as with many Aussie houses that isolation is poor which makes the apartment somewhat cold during low temperatures, particularly the floor.
We loved staying at this apartment in St. Kilda! Giuseppe was waiting for us upon our arrival from the airport and was very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know about the apartment (check out, rubbish disposal, where to eat close by, etc). St kilda is a perfect suburb to stay in while visiting Melbourne--very safe and quiet because it is slightly outside the city but also close to the beach and many restaurants and bars.
The beds were very comfortable, shower was hot and there was even wine, coffee/tea and treats left for us to enjoy!
The kitchen wasn't exactly a full kitchen but it wasnt a problem for us as we enjoyed eating out at all the restaurants melbourne has to offer! Also had to pay 20$ for combined wifi and parking spot but we were glad to do so.
Definitely recommend for small groups or a couples weekend!
Ce petit appartement, très fonctionnel est tout à fait comme conforme à l'idée que nous nous en étions fait.
A deux pas du tram qui vous conduit vers la City en moins de 20 minutes, il est idéalement situé à quelques centaines de mètres de la plage, des commerces et restaurants, tout en étant dans une rue calme. Dommage que les voisins soient un peu bruyants le WE (un voisin en particulier surtout), sinon tout aurait été parfait.
La possibilité de louer une place de parking est un plus... les amendes sont très chères à Melbourne ;))
Suzanne et son mari sont des Hôtes adorables ; il nous ont accueilli avec des petits cadeaux (vin, thé, café...), ils nous ont laissé des plans et autres documents pour nous orienter dans la découverte de Melbourne ; cela nous a beaucoup touché.
Excellent location for local bars and restaurants. Communication with Susanne and Giuseppe was great, very prompt responses.
The welcome gifts were a nice touch.
The only negative points are the neighbours were pretty noisy, and the premises was not as clean as I would have expected.
A lovely apartment in a great location. Close to the beach, shops and tram stops. Comfortable with all the amenities you might need, including toys and DVDs for our kids. The hosts were also very attentive and left a delicious welcome basket. Would certainly recommend this apartment.

Place was clean when we arrived and we had no issues getting the keys from the hosts. The apartment was situated close to town centre and was a home away from home.
