Here is another review from a guest that stayed in this St Kilda apartment:
"We had a lovely time at St. Kilda. The appartment was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being right in the middle of the St. Kilda buzz, a short distance walk from the beach, shops, restaurants, bars and the tram into town. Having internet access, a TV and VCR, the place felt like home to us and both our kids. Thanks to our hosts- we will come back!"

nice and clean apartment with all the amenities you need for a short stay in the middle of everyting in st kilda and close to the beach.
the hosts have been very supportive and responded immediately to any request.
Blocks from the beach; you really can't beat this amazing apartment nestled in St. Kilda. The 4 of us had an amazing time and Giuseppe and Susanne were exceptional. He even waited for us at the apartment when our flight was delayed. Stay here and experience a great taste of St. Kilda life.
We had a lovely stay in St Kilda. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen, bath, and living space had everything we needed. The location is great for beach, restaurants, and city access via trams. Washing machine was a bonus.
Great Location, Cute place but got stung with a $70 parking fine because we didn't realise off street parking is a must and takes a day to organise any. If it was made clear at the welcoming the stay would've been 5 stars.
This apartment is beautifully decorated and maintained. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the pressure in the shower is incredible. If you want to be near the buzz of Acland Street and St. Kilda Beach, there is probably no better location than this apartment. The wine, water and Tim tams on arrival were a really nice touch and we really enjoyed our two weeks here. I would definitely stay again.
On the downside, we found the apartment block to be noisy at times. Our hosts were renovating an apartment above ours and there was a lot of (presumably unavoidable) noise. Some neighbours also played really bad rave/trance music at the weekend nights and early mornings and we had to ask them to turn it off on several occasions. It didn't spoil our stay, but it is a young apartment block and at the weekends the atmosphere can be quite buoyant.
A great spot to stay with everything a family could want. Clean and bring apartment in a great location. Convenient to trams and the great cake shops of Acland St. Close to St Kilda beach and Luna Park as well. The hosts are accommodating and easy to deal with.
Most of all a great location in a quiet street. The apartment building had a nice feel with lovely gardens and the apartment itself was simply and elegantly furnished with all you could ask for. Some complementary goodies on arrival was a nice touch and the hosts were friendly and helpful, and were quick to respond to questions we had.
As a pensioner couple with an adult daughter we found this tidy apartment met our needs during our 4 night stay. It is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Susanne greeted us and was very clear in explaining all we needed to know about the apartment. This Robe Street apartment is ideally located for easy access to St Kilda shops and public transport. We enjoyed our stay.

A bright and welcoming apartment in an excellent location if you want to be away from the CBD.
We had a great experience booking accommodation through Living Like Locals. Their communication was excellent and they were obviously very focused on giving personal and high quality service. The apartment was nicely renovated and surprisingly quiet considering its location so close to the action in Ackland St - really convenient as a base. Our children were excited to have the beach at the end of the street. The apartment has everything you will need for a home away from home and we would recommend this apartment to singles, couples or small/ young families - provided the children are prepared to share a bed as the second bedroom has a double bed rather than two singles. We would definitely consider this or other 'Living Like Locals' properties for any future stays in Melbourne.
